To The End

8 Birthdays: Let us celebrate the occasion.

"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Dakota, happy birthday to you" Mikey, Frank, Ray, Maddie, Bob, and Gerard sing happily. I blow hard on the candles. They all cheer. "I feel a bit old to be blowing out my candles" Mikey kisses me, then smiles "I think you're fine on the age,  seeing you're only 23" I smile "That's not what I meant smart-ass"  I smile and hug him.

I've been with them for four months now, and tour starts in two months.

How exciting.

I'd learned all of the piano.. or organ parts. For the songs, there were only a few with it, but it's still an important part of the music.  It's really just basics for me, I've been playing piano since I was six.

They'd woken me up with the cake and singing. They had filled my room with balloons, which were completely covered the floor. Actually, Ray had stepped on a balloon and that woke me up, but we'll just say that the singing did. I stand up and walk to the end of the bed. Everyone was sitting there looking up at me, except Mikey, who was behind me. "Someone give me a hug!" I bend down so I'm in hugging range. I got my hug! A big one too! First Bob hugs me, then Frank, then Maddie, then Ray. I hug all of them the best I can. "Miiikkkeeeeeyyyyy"  I turn my head around to look at him, he sighs and joins the hug, slowly.

Once that was over, I sit back down "You guys made coffee, right?" Ray nods and leaves the room. "Let's have cake!" Maddie laughs and shakes her head "You guys do, I've got to go to work" we all look at her sadly. "I'm sorry! I'll be back at three" Frank sighs and kisses her, "Alright then, see you later" she hugs him. Before she gets out of the door, she looks back at me "And, happy birthday Dakota" she  smiles, then disappears out of the doorway.
