The topic of Starscream's infertility soon reached the entire Nemesis, and surprisingly, no one made fun of it, not one mocking comment, only spark-felt "I'm sorry for you" from Veicons, and a rather touching offer from Shockwave.

Megatron: "You surely don't need Shockwave's fertility treatment, you don't have to do anything if not willingly."

They both knew and accepted their feelings, but couldn't even imagine that they were, in fact, mutual feelings.

They both laid down on the large berth, Starscream's helm resting on Megatron's arm while the Warlord brought his free servo on the other's abdominal plates, stroking and caressing gently.

Starscream: "I know, I have to think about it."

Stascream though that his lord would try to convince him to give in at the idea of having sparklings with that soothing, relaxing moment of peace. Instead, the only purpose of Megatron's actions was to relax the Seeker, help him with his sore frame, all his stiff joints for his (understandable) stress.

Megatron: "I just... I just want you to know that I'll be alright with any of your decisions, it is not me carrying, so I do not intend to force you in any way."

Stascream: "I appreciate it... why such a change of spark, tho?"

That question took Megatron by surprise, and he realized Starscream couldn't read his emotions like Moon did, and the thought of telling him about his own feelings was there in his processor for just a moment, before he just spat out the first excuse he could find.

Megatron: "If we'll be sparkbonded, I should be nicer to you, at least decent."

That made Starscream almost uncomfortable.

Almost.

He wasn't sure if he could believe it or not, but something in the back of his processor wanted him to believe it blindly. He wanted it to be true.

They both had stopped lying to themselves, and now they had to stop lying to each other.
