Starscream was peacefully walking around the Nemesis, no trouble in sight, until he reached Medbay. Knockout, Eclipse and Moon were discussing details of the sparkbond ceremony, looking through researches about Vos' traditions and culture.
When the little sparkling saw the Seeker, they jumped off the medical table and ran toward the silver bot, jumping in his arms. Starscream took Moon in his servos and lifted the little bot and his shoulder plates. Walking to the other two, the Seeker saw the research about Vos' traditions and a little feeling blossomed inside him.

Starscream: "You're researching about Vos' culture? How nice of you"

Eclipse: "Well, Kaon doesn't really have nay specific tradition, and I thought that a Vosian sparkbond could be interesting, also it's where you're from so I wanted to learn a bit."

That brought a somehow honest smile on Starscream's dermas, and Knockout noticed. If that pleased the Seeker, he should wait for what Megatron had in store for the ceremony.
Soon enough, Starscream was sat there explaining numerous traditions from Vos to Eclipse and Moon, specifying each tradition from each different degrees of importance.

Eclipse: "And where were you in Vos' hierarchical ladder?"

Starscream's expression darkened, but he answered anyway.

Starscream: "Uhm... well, I was pretty important..."

Eclipse: "Oh really? Probably upper middle class, you're too pretty to have been any lower!"

Starscream's intake went dry, his optics widened a bit, those slim wings lowering quickly. Knockout noticed but didn't have time to intervene, Eclipse immediately talked again.

Eclipse: "I can say from your frame type that you much have had a very steady infanthood, you didn't move much, am I wrong?"

The confusion in Knockout's optics wasn't brought by Eclipse's hypothesis, but mostly by Starscream's sigh.
He never talked about that period of his life, was he going to? Reveal things he told no one on the Nemesis just to appear well in Eclipse's optics? Or maybe he was just making up a lie.

Starscream: "...I was part of the royal family, actually..."

'Certainly a lie' though Knockout, but the uncomfortable gaze on the Seeker's faceplate said otherwise.

Starscream: "...I was the youngest of my family, numerous successful cousins, and my creators were extremely proud of my trine... I was a bit left out."

Eclipse's servo ended up on Starscream's back, and Knockout listened closely, the little Moon sat on their carrier's lap.

Starscream: "It's just... well, I'm a bit stressed and anxious about our union... not because I don't think he's not the right one... I was previously destined to sparkbond with an old, rich, selfish aristocrat, as my creators wanted from me one single thing: heirs for the throne."

Starscream hugged his stabilizers, his voice breaking a little while Knockout sat beside him, both him and Eclipse trying to comfort him.

Eclipse: "If you have to let off steam, you can talk to us"

Starscream: "...I don't think I can have sparklings"

At that, Eclipse's optics widened, just a little tear went down her cheek plate.

Eclipse: "Oh my darling, I'm so sorry, I even pressured you into talking about offsprings!"

Both bots sat beside Starscream, and Moon walked up between the Seeker's stabilizers, hugging his neck cables.

Moon: "I have a thing, and I can see through bots... I'm sorry they did those things to you..."

Neither of Eclipse or Knockout had the strength to ask Starscream about Moon's words, so they just held him tightly.

'There's time for answers' thought the medic.
