Megatron was used to sitting on his throne all day, listening to Starscream's excuses for failed plans, but that day, the Seeker couldn't be seen anywhere.

The Warlord, drowning in the need to see for himself if the Seeker was alright, walked around the entire Nemesis, looking for his second in command and soon-to-be conjux, but couldn't find him.

And then the last resort.

Exlipse: "No, I haven't seen him either."

Sitting on her berth, calmly chatting with her son, who she tried to decapitate just a few weeks prior, Eclipse seemed not to care at all about the Seeker's wellbeing, but more about her own worries.

Eclipse: "Son, you can't keep avoiding the matter of sparklings."

Megatron: "Starscream cannot have Sparklings, I surely won't force him to try!"

It was unusual for Megatron to talk back to his creator, but those few times, the topic was a matter of life and death, and in this case, it certainly was for him.

Eclipse: "There are different ways to have heirs for your lineage, maybe a surrogate, Sound-"

Megatron: "Do NOT mention Soundwave! I will not consider him for surrogate!"

Eclipse: "Why, tho? He's physically similar to Starscream, and he's surely fertile."

Megatron: "I won't ask Soundwave to let me spark him after he lost almost all his minicons! And them and Shockwave already are sparkbonded!"

Eclipse: "Then Knockout! Or someone else! There must be another solu-"

Megatron: "Just GIVE UP! I will not force Starscream to even try to carry my sparklings just because you want some damn grandchildren! You were forced as well and can't understand that it is basically the same thing that happened to you when you had me! I hate myself every day because you see that afthole of my Sire in me, but you still can't accept that not everything can go the way you want it!?"

With those words, Megatron just gave in and stormed out of the room, leaving his creator to think about her own thoughts.
