Three days

Megatron hadn't seen Starscream in three days

Too much time without him, 'he could be hurt, or anything else,' he thought. The truth was that Megatron really just missed his Seeker.
He tried asking around the Nemesis, but the Seeker couldn't be found, and Megatron's worry started skyrocketing. Three hours were already a lot without him.
Three days were an absolute agony.

After hours of attempts, Megatron finally convinced Soundwave to tell him where the Seeker was, and he immediately flew to Medbay. The doors opened automatically, and the first sight before his optics was Starscream, with an unnaturally large bump on his lower abdomen, his tank bigger than normal.

Megatron: "...Starscream...?"

The Seeker immediately turned, looking at his master and soon-to-be conjux with shock written all over his faceplate.

Starscream: "L-Lord Megatron-!?"

With those words, Starscream slipped and risked to land down on the floor, right on his front. Luckily, Megatron was faster and catched him mid-air.
Delicately, the Warlord placed his Seeker down on the medical berth he was using to sustain himself earlier.

Megatron: "Starscream, I haven't seen you in three days! Were you here? And why is your tank larger? Do you have an infection or a parasite!?"

The Warlord's genuine, worried tone made Stascream's spark melt.
But there was another thing they had to talk about, Starscream fairly though he had more time, and yet.

Starscream: "...technically, the parasite is the closest guess..."

Megatron: "...what do you mean?"

Starscream: "...I don't think you'd like it..."

Megatron: "Test me."

The Seeker shivered at the thought that it took that little to get to that point, and he pointed to one of Knockout's datapads. Megatron grabbed it and handed it to Starscream with absolute no complaints, and the Seeker taped away on it.
Then, he showed his soon-to-be conjust the image on the device, and silence fell upon Medbay.

Megatron: "...a sprak infection...?"

Starscream: "Those... are sparks... growing..."

He tried to hide himself behind the datapad, but Megatron gently moved the device away, surprising the Seeker, and he tried to back away of just a couple inches, almost stuttering.

Starscream: "I-I was obviously already thinking of i-interrupting the process...!"

Those words, somehow, woke up the Warlord from his trance, and he grabbed a bit too tightly his partner's arms.

Megatron: "Don't!"

The silence between them came back, and while they stared into each other's optics, some kind of electricity could be felt in the air.
The Seeker started questioning himself about his Lord's behavior, and as soon as said Warlord realized the tight grip he had on the other's arms, he released them, his servos shaking slightly.

Megatron: "...I mean... would you consider... thinking about it...?"

Starscream: "...I don't want to be a dead weight more than I already am, either I carry them to make Eclipse happy or I interrupt the process, and no one will ever know..."

Megatron looked at Starscream with something he hadn't experienced in a lifetime: empathy.
His second in command and soon-to-be conjux was carrying some sparks, sparks that came from both their own genetic imprint. He was ecstatic, excited, and terrified at the idea.

On the other servo, Starscream didn't know how to act, what to say, he was unsure of what was the right thing to do at the moment, so he just squeezed Megatron's servos in his, and spoke up.

Starscream: "I... I want to keep them..."

Once again, the oxymoron that the Warlord could be so delicate went to the next level when he placed a kiss on Starscream's tank and then nuzzled against it.

Megatron: "I'm gonna be a Sire... I can't wait..."
