Monday
December 1

Dallon and Josh watch in amusement as Tyler hangs upside down on the couch between them, his legs over his face as he pushes his back up with his hands.

"Are you trying to suck your own dick?"

Tyler giggles, "No!"

"What are you doing then?" Dallon laughs.

"I'm...you know!"

"He's showing us the position he wants to be in," Josh states.

"Bite me, Joshua."

Josh leans over and bites the smaller man's asscheek through his sweatpants, making Tyler squeak. He wraps a leg around the man's neck and pulls him closer.

"Oh," Josh hums.

Wrapping his other leg around Dallon's neck, he pulls him in as well.

"Hi," Dallon says, looking at Josh. "Fancy meeting you here."

Tyler giggles as Dallon playfully mouths at his inner thigh. Freeing their heads, Tyler drops his butt onto the back of the couch, letting his legs dangle freely by his head with a sigh, eyes trained on the TV.

"Daddy?"

Tyler sighs silently at the name. He doesn't know where Eli got the idea to call him Dad, but as much as he tries to tell him he's not his dad, Eli doesn't seem to understand why. Eli has never known his father and now Tyler, Josh and Dallon are the only parent figures in his life so, in his five year old mind, it makes perfect sense. It's been happening on and off since mid-November, but closer to December, it's all he calls him, and Tyler just sort of stopped trying to correct him, despite it nagging at the back of his mind. He doesn't have the heart to even mention his actual father, let alone explain why he isn't in his life.

He also has similar nicknames for Josh and Dallon and, even though they haven't said it out loud, Tyler can tell they adore the names.

"What, baby?" Tyler asks, hanging his legs over the back of the couch.

Eli climbs up and sits between Tyler and Josh with a giggle, "What you doing?"

"Hanging out," the man smiles as he brushes his fingers through the boy's messy bedhead. "What're you doing?"

"Not'ing."

"Nothing? Are you hungry?"

Eli nods, placing his thumb in his mouth.

That's also something Tyler has noticed. Eli used to suck his thumb when he was younger, after his mom weaned him off his pacifier. Usually, it only happened when he was upset, which is why Tyler is nervous about it now. He fears Eli is getting anxiety and the only way he knows how to get himself through it is by regressing back to his old habits. Tyler's tried to help him find alternative ways to cope, but he can't exactly offer a bong rip or beer to a five year old. And lord knows he has no idea how to talk through his own trauma, let alone a child's.

Thankfully, Josh has been a lot of help in that department, having helped take care of his younger siblings their entire life.

"What sounds good for breakfast?" Tyler questions, carefully pulling the boy's hand away from his mouth and holding it.

"Pancakes!"

"God, there's two of them," Josh whispers, making Dallon laugh.

"I think pancakes sound amazing," Tyler grins. "Why don't we go get dressed and we can go out for breakfast?"
