Chepter 11

Chapter 11

This was the best day ever!! You would not have guessed what I've just done! I could hardly believe what I did. The new me was awesome! Yay me!

~A few hours ago~

"Hurry up! How long does it take for a girl to shower and dress?"

I rolled my eyes as I heard Chris banging on the door. Again. And shouting. We were going to school together and apparently I was taking too long and he was running out of patience. Hey, it's not my fault. After changing myself and having new clothes, I have to put an effort into dressing up, which takes me like three hours? It's not easy being me.

" I'm coming! Just a sec!" I rushed down the stairs and made my way to the door, seeing impatient looking Chris who is currently giving me a death glare. I smiled at him sheepishly and we begin walking to school in a awkward silence. He walked in front of me and wasn't speaking to me at all. Guess he really was angry this time.

" I'm sorry, please forgive me?" Earning no response from Chris, I tried again.

" I'll buy you a block of chocolate?" Still no response. That was weird. Usually he'd be all happy and everything was back to normal if I did give him some chocolates. I'm starting to freak out now. Chris would always talk to me no matter how angry he was.

" Chris I'm sorry. Please forgive me? I swear it won't happen again. Please?" He turned around, but his face was blank. He was still angry.

We were at school by then.

" Look I'm really sorry. I'll buy you Nutella? And chocolates?" I gave him my best puppy face, even though I knew I couldn't pull of a puppy face. I was told I looked like a maniac with scrunched up nose and dilated eyes when I did my attempt of a puppy face. I didn't even know what that meant but I guess I looked horrible. Duh.

Still no response from Chris but after five seconds he burst out laughing.

" Oh man you should have seen your face! It was hilarious!" Tears was rolling down his face and I stood there frowning.

" I tried my best though. So I take it that your not angry anymore? " Chris nodded and gave me a thumbs up.

" I was only angry at first but after listening to your pleading and looking at your face, I calmed down. You still owe me the Nutella and chocolates by the way. " Chris said with a smug look on his face.

" Darn, I thought you've forgotten about that. " I eyed him but couldn't stop the stupid grin from forming on my face, glad that he wasn't angry anymore. We walked to our lockers together, chatting happily, until a voice broke us apart.

" Well well who do we have here? The girl who rejected me eh? I thought your standards were higher than this. Guess I was wrong. Now your with a nobody? Wow great choice there. " Bryan eyed Chris curiously and retuned to the girl who was standing there frowning.

" First, do not call Chris a nobody. He's way cooler than you. Two, I'm like way out of your league. I will never, ever fall for you, Bryan. You mark my words. "

I practically shouted at him. I was so angry at him. No one could get away for making fun of my best friend.

Bryan looked at me with bulging eyes. That was the first time a nobody said that to him. Well duh, who would dare to shout at the schools jock. I grabbed Chris's hand and stormed off to class. We have almost every class together which was amazing.

" Look who grew up to become miss bossy. " Chris looked at me with a wide grin on his face. I blushed and ducked my head low.

" Uh.. I um.. I guess.. " I stammered but no words came out. Alice never blushes, this was a first. Luckily the teacher came in and interrupted me for saying anything stupid. I silently thanked Mr John for coming in at the right time.

Class started but I wasn't paying attention. My head was filled with thoughts about the blush, the fluttering in my heart. I couldn't be falling for Chris.. Could I?
