Chapter 8

I got to my locker with Chris. Oh yeah forgot to say, we're both SO lucky to be locker neighbours! He's just two lockers away from me! I took out my books with Chris waiting beside me when suddenly, the door burst opened.

Do the gang always need to make such a scene when they open the doors? I mean don't they ever get tired of it? I rolled my eyes and was prepared to go straight to homeroom but a voice I hated most stopped me.

"Ooh who do we have here? My type of girl yeah?" Bryan said while walking towards me. He eyed my outfit and was obviously checking me out.

"May I say wow you're hot. Want to skip school and come with me?" Bryan asked as he slipped his hand around my waist, pulling me closer while earning glares from the "It" girls.

I took his hands off me and decided to go on with my plan. I gave him a little smile and said "Oh um let me check my schedule Kay? La la la done! Oh my schedules full! So, NO!" I replied and shoved him back.

"Let's meet up at... Wait what? Did you just say no to me?" He asked with an edge on his tone.

I rolled my eyes and gave a yawn, saying " Did you not hear me correctly? Yeah that's right I rejected you. How does that feel huh, Bryan Baldwin? Think your the man now? Does this incident remind you of someone?" I gave him an innocent look while batting my eyelashes.

"Nobody says no to me. No one does that but me you got that clear? No this doesn't remind me of anyone." I laughed and threw my head back, adding fuel to the fire. There was anger in his eyes and he clenched his fist tightly.

"I'm not scared of you Bryan. I've changed a lot. You may not remember me in this form but after some time, you will remember me and I swear, I will make you regret for what you did to me." Anger was welling inside of me and I had the urge to slap him real hard.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" He gave me the look, the same look that he gave me two months ago that made me fell for his little trick.

"Hahaha! You'll see Bryan. You'll see for sure." I turned my back to him and grabbed Chris by the hand. He was obviously enjoying the whole show and gave me a sincere grin that sent my heart fluttering.

Wait stop stop stop.Heart flutter? Snap out of it Alice! He's Chris! Your best friend! The one who always stuck with you no matter how hard things are! Get over it! You could lose your friendship! I mentally slapped myself and shook my head.

I couldn't be falling for Chris. Or was I?
