My smile faded away immediately when I stepped into Walmart. A feeling too familiar was buzzing in my heart and head, and doing what I did most, I ignored it.

Keeping my head high and a fake smile on my face, I walked past the two. I heard their laughter as I walked pass, and waited for an ' Hi ' or something. Guess I thought wrong.

Walking to somewhere near them, I stopped at the display in front of them and pretended to look for things.

I wasn't spying. It's like some sort of...looking. Secretly. Definitely not spying.

A teenage boy walked passed me and gave me a strange look, but I could see a faint blush on his face. Panicking, I grabbed something on the display and pretended to be studying it. Once he left, I let out a sigh of relief. What was his problem anyway?

Putting down the thing I grabbed back to the display, I studied it carefully and I too, started blushing.

Best selling tampons, number 1.

Really, Alice. Really? Tampons? Out of everything you just had to choose that.

I shook my head in disbelief and continued to spy on the two people. Wait, looking at the two people. Not spying.

A tinge of pain squeezed my heart and without thinking, I grabbed something and proceeded to the counter.

" Hi, welcome to-" Bryan stopped and a flash of reorganisation passed his face and he gave me a wide grin. " Hey Alice. "

" Hi. " I replied coldly. Bryan gave me a wider grin. Guess he didn't get that the message.

" Alice, this is Solena. Solena, this is Alice. " Bryan introduced, pointing at the petite girl with killer looks and body. How did she get that blonde hair to look so shiny and smooth? Solena...sounds familiar. Where had I heard this name before?

" Solena started working here today and I was helping her on her first day. And I told her all about you. " He added.

He did what now?

" Hi, I'm Solena. I've heard so much about you from Bryan and must I say, you are hilarious. He was telling me all about you and I laughed so much just now. It's such a pleasure to meet you."

What exactly did he say about me?

I realized they were waiting for my answer and I gave Solena a smile. " Pleausre's all mine. "

So that's why they were laughing. The pain disappeared and I was back in my happy mood.

Bryan picked up my purchase and a blush crept onto his cheek. I stared at him in confusion. What did I buy?

Looking down, I realized I bought the tampons I held before. Slapping myself mentally, I gave him a sheepish smile and looked down at my feet, unable to meet his eyes.

I passed him the money and grabbed the tampons, before rushing out.

Smooth move, Alice. Smooth move.

Shut up me.

I heard a knock at my door and stopped the movie I was playing. 8pm. Who could be here?

Reluctantly, I got up from my couch and opened the door.

My faced lit up when I saw who was at the door, but drowned in darkness when I saw who was beside him. This scenario seems familiar enough. Oh wait, Chris and Tiffany.

" Hey Bryan. And Solena. "

" You forgot your change, Alice. Bryan said that he wanted to return it and I followed him, since I've been dying to meet you. Hope we can be good friends! "

" Hm. " I replied, obviously not caring.

Solena seems to have noticed the aura around me and the daggers I was shooting at her.

"Uh...well, it had been nice meeting you. I'll get going now. Bye, guys. "

" Good riddance. " I muttered under my breath. Solena has been bugging me a lot. Her attitude seems fake and I don't that girl. Call it the sixth sense or something, but to me she seems fake.

" Okay, what was that? " Bryan asked, as he closed the door.

" I don't get what you mean. "

" What was up with your attitude. She was trying to make friends. "

I opened my mouth to reply but stopped. I was being a bitch now.

" I'm sorry. I'll apologise to her. "

" Good, so tell me what's going on. " Bryan said, sitting beside me.

" I..." I stuttered. " I don't know.I just get that feeling when your with some other girls. And I do not like that feeling..."

Bryan stared at me, like I was the dumbest person on earth.

" What? " I said, annoyed.

" Isn't that jealousy? "

Confusion spread over my face. Jealousy? Wasn't I still hung up about the breakup thing?

" Is it? "

" It might be. " Bryan replied slowly, looking at me.

" But I..."

" Do you like me? "

I was taken back by his question.

" I don't know..."

" Even it's just a little bit, do you feel alone without me? Do you want me beside you? "

I thought hard. Remembering the times when I felt sad without him there beside me. I did want him beside me...

" Yes..." I said, looking into his eyes now. Warmth spread over me when I looked at him. My mind was calm and I felt safe and relieved when I was with him. Was this love? I had all these feelings when Chris was with me, but was it the same with Bryan? Was I able to let Chris go? Was Bryan just a replacement..?

I had questions in my head. Was I prepared? Did I get over it...? Was I alright to get hurt again? Can I get over the pain when he left me? Was I ready...?

" Do you want to try being with me? " Bryan's voice pulled me away from my thoughts and I stared into his orbs.

I realized how close we are now. Our lips were barely touching.

" I...yes. " I whispered. " But, I'm scared. What if I-"

" I won't leave you. I promise. "

With that, his lips touched mine. It was a soft kiss, gentle and warm. It felt...right.

Many questions was in my head but the one that stood out most was this.

Did I choose the right choice?
