A week had passed since that incident. Bryan has been wonderful, helping me at work, sending me encouraging messages and sending me back home after school and work. He was really an awesome friend but I knew that the feelings were still there.

Chris had also went to the police and confessed, since I decided to let them go. I haven't see Tiffany or Bruce but the further I stayed away from them, the better. Ellie and Jason had gone off to some theme park for a week, but didn't tell me which one since they were afraid that I was going to follow them.

Pff, they're thinking too much. I don't stalk people...well maybe sometimes but...I don't stalk people. Anyway, they were coming back today so I couldn't wait to hear about their amazing time at the theme park.

I was just about to call Ellie when the doorbell suddenly rang.

" Who comes here Sunday morning...? " Murmuring to myself, I opened the door and was surprised to see the person I least expecting to be standing there.

" What the fuck happened to you Ellie! What, did some dog bite you? " I blurted.

Ellie stood there, shocked at my outburst, since I was never a vulgar person.

" You know, usually in this situation I would be the one that swear first, and no, I wasn't bitten by a dog, just to add on. "

" But you look...not so Ellie. " I replied. Her hair was greasy and messy. Complexion was horrid, and her eyes were red and she looked like she haven't slept for ages.

" Thanks for making me feel better. "

" Sorry. " I smiled sheepishly. " Go and take your shower and I'll get you a set of clothing. " I hurried her up and took out some clothes for her.

I went down and made hot coca with whipped cream and marshmallows, since they were Ellie's favorite. I bought them up and sat on my bed, waiting for Ellie to come out.

After what seemed like ages, she finally emerged out from the bathroom.

" How long does it take for you to shower? " I asked, unable to hid my curiosity.

" Around half to one hour, doesn't include me dressing and drying. " She replied, as if it was the most normal thing on earth.

I stared at her incredulously, but shook my head and ignored it.

That's just Ellie. No helping it.

" So, " I said, after she changed into her clothes, " tell me what the hell happened. "

Sorrow showed in her eyes, and what ever happened must have hurt her badly. She wasn't in her usual charm, instead, she looked dull and not so sparkly.

" Ellie, it's okay. Keeping everything inside your heart would only make it sadder for you. " I said as she sat down beside me.  " I'll be here and you can stay as long as you like. Talk to me when you feel like it, I'll stay here with you. "

We stayed in the comfortable silence. No drama, no thoughts. It was as if my mind was in a peaceful state. A girl's night was definitely needed.

I did a mental note to take that down. It would be nice, Ellie and me, doing what we want, having fun.
