Chapter 13: Corruption Exposed

•sounds of heavy slashes are heard, its been 10 minutes since kishi engaged in combat against the clown like criminal and Rivera, it seems the clown is able to stretch out his limbs in different directions which caused kishi great difficulty, especially as he was being rained with bullets from the traitorous captain•

•throwing his sword to the side, distracting the captain, kishi quickens his pace and lands a devastating blow to the clowns stomach. At least thats what it seemed, in actuality his attack merely pushed against his body, physical attacks would not be effective.•

Clown: HAHAHAHA you think you can damage my impervious body? What a good joke! HAHAHAA!

•the joyously infuriating laughter only served to anger kishi even more as he reengaged, off to the side the three pubsec officers were watching with wide eyes, seth and qingyi on the battle however zhu yuan's eyes were elsewhere. She stared in despair at the sadistic grin on captain riveras face, pure betrayal written in her eyes as she watches the man she thought she could trust, commit sins he vowed to put a stop to.•

Zhu yuan: w-why......how could he.......i trusted him.......

Seth: captain?......theres nothing we can do now, anyone got any ideas on how we can help that knight?

•before anyone could answer another challenger entered the fray, cutting straight across his cheek a blade on a long chain flew past kishi as he turned to stare, a smaller yet more agile man stared back, his frame lean but with muscle and his dark hair and pitch black eyes made him look both intimidating and carefree•

Small man: the copycat is dead boss.

Kishi: copycat?

Rivera: *chuckles darkly* good, the master will reward us greatly for this. Buster, kinji, kill the knight.

Seth: *eyes wide* copycat is here?!

•at that moment kishi's eyes widened as he tried to use energy to dash forward but found himself unable to reinforce his legs? with little time to react the small figure, now named kinji, rushed forward as well as the clown, now named buster, attacking from both sides kishi found himself unable to defend the onslaught of attacks they sent his way, slashes and dents in his armour appeared more and more as hes pushed back•

•not giving up kishi leaps forward once more, clashing fists with kinji sending a shockwave around the area, dust swirls as the barrage on fists continue, despite his small frame kinji is physically capable•

Kishi: (what happened to his-!)

•noticing his blade was gone far too late kishi narrowly dodge's a swift slash that buster sent towards him, getting up from his knees kishi stands before the duo•

•preparing himself, now feeling his energy slowly return to him as he positioned himself to crush the two insects. It wouldn't be so simple however as his opponents prepared themselves as-well. On the other hand Rivera slowly walks to the still wide eyed zhu yuan and her two companions.•

Zhu yuan: c-captain? Come on this isn't funny....

Rivera: *sadistic grin* you still think this is some joke? No, unfortunately you all die today. I'll admit i had fun leading you all on.
