5k special: New officer in new eridu

•public security. Its a busy but also incredibly important component for new eridu to be able to function without issues, keeping the peace is what most consider to be absolutely critical. A subsection of public security is the criminal investigation special response team, a team lead by captain zhu yuan, it also includes team members seth and qingyi along with several other smaller officers. Today was interesting to say the least for the main three as zhu yuan had just been informed by her superiors that she was getting a rookie put under her wing, unfortunately she didn't completely understand why and was hesitant but accepted none the less•

Zhu yuan: i just don't understand their reasons, we do just fine with us three on the front lines so why do we need a new rookie *sigh*

Seth: come on zhu yuan you haven't even met him yet, at least give him a chance.

Qingyi: if its our superiors who want him to be here specifically then he surely cant be too bad.

Zhu yuan: *sigh* i suppose your right, I'll have to come in early tomorrow anyway..... goodnight you two.

Seth/qingyi: goodnight.

•heading off to home zhu yuan still had her doubts, the CISR had a clean record so far, so why add someone now? Had they done something wrong? Her superiors hadn't even told her a proper reason just, your the best suited to teach him and that he's a bit strange. But if it was a task from her superiors who was she to judge•

•the next morning zhu yuan got up early to prepare herself to meet the new rookie, she was told he would be their 9'oclock and no later than that, so heading down to the station she waited outside for a while still questioning the decision until she heard the sound of roller blades? She looked down to see a young man, with h/c and e/c at a measly height of 5'4 (short king), the most prominent features to be seen are the cat ears and tail which sway gently as he pants, looking at her with a disheveled uniform as he salutes her and says•

M/n: officer rookie m/n okkotsu reporting for duty miss zhu yuan!

Zhu yuan:.......(a feline thiren.....and a house cat it seems)

M/n: *sweatdrop whilst saluting*

Zhu yuan: first of all, your tie is hardly hanging on, next your shirt is untucked, your jacket and badges are both messy and uneven and what is with those boots? Roller blades? You can't wear them here.

M/n: e-eh? But i need them miss zhu yuan?

Zhu yuan: not here you don't, also call me captain here.

M/n: i-i....*sigh* yes captain.....

Zhu yuan: good we have spare boots inside change them there and then I'll show you too your desk.

M/n: r-right captain.

•walking inside the building m/n walked off to the side to grab some new boots at the captains demand? And quickly found them to be uncomfortable, not only that but they caused him pain in his legs. He tried to ignore this as best he could to not make a bad impression and followed the captain to his desk•

Zhu yuan: this is your desk, obviously you do reports and any other work like it here, now you'll have patrol later today, unfortunately we have no one else to go with you as were all too busy, can you handle doing it alone?
