M/n okkotsu travels through new eridu fighting ethers, running through hollows and taking on commissions while juggling the ties hes made with some "interesting" individuals
•Meiyoaru kishi had come to a strong realisation. He was weak. Compared to m/n, overlord and Hoshimi Miyabi, he was weak. And it frustrated him to no end, he had promised to protect his new king with everything he had and yet, he was far too weak. He needed to become stronger and fast, if anything had happened to m/n then he would be helpless. And yet he knew exactly where to go•
•his old castle had always been a mysterious place and not just because of the creepy aura it exuded to anyone who tried to enter, it was a cursed place which drained the energy of many living things within it, slowly killing them. Being isolated in that cursed castle for 19 years had severely weakened him but not too the point of death as his energy was too potent for it too be enough to kill him. Kishi would confront his problem head on and destroy the curse, he had hoped this would release the build up of energy within the castle and allow him to evolve freely•
•and so he spoke to m/n about leaving for a while•
M/n: leaving?
Kishi: yes, at my current level im too weak to be of assistance to you, i have an idea of how to grow stronger but I'll be gone for a while. Im not sure how long....
M/n: well.....if thats what you wanna do then i dont have objections, just dont take too long. Alright?
Kishi: haha! Always a worry wart, dont worry my liege, I'll grow stronger so i can protect you. No matter the enemy.
•with those last words kishi left the apartment him and m/n were staying in, determination across his face as he slowly makes his way through the thick forest back to the place he once inhabited. He could feel the darkness from within which he had never truly focused on before, something he regrets now•
•entering through the now broken doorway he makes his way throughout the dark and dusty halls, once a beautiful kingdom now reduced to a small and broken castle, there was always a part that kishi never went too, a place which haunted his past, a place which was too dark too go through. But today be would have to confront his origins, for his king•
•heading towards the lower floors and down the stair well kishi comes across a room he hasn't visited since he was young, a room which held pain, a room which could potentially, unlock his true potential. Opening the door he's met by a pure white void, looking around he sees a figure standing ahead and his eyes widen in shock•
Kishi: my.......liege?
(Flashback time)
•30 years ago, before kishi met satoru, azamuku or lycaon, or even became a hollow raider. He was a knight loyal to his king, at the time he was 25 and server under a faction which in the modern day, was long gone. The knights of the round table, he was one of 12 who served directly under their king. His brothers names he could not remember as they has been locked behind a barrier which he could never overcome•
