chapter 15: conclusion, respect and return

•the investigation at the abandoned lab went well but it wasn't enough concrete evidence to confirm that the blue bottle wanderers were planning something, to try and confirm this the now rejoined group of five would venture out to the underground facility which zhu yuan, qingyi and m/n were all to familiar with. It took time for them to get there as they couldn't drive and had to climb up the steep hill which it was located under. On their way up the group would have some small talk between them•

M/n: hey seth?

Seth: hm?

M/n: the first few times i saw zhu yuan and qingyi you werent with them, same with when we were last here. Why is that?

Seth: ah i sometimes go on commissions with another team mate we have, although she isn't available right now so we couldn't bring her with us unfortunately.

M/n: i see.....

Seth: that reminds me, whats your power?

M/n: my power?

Seth: yeah! I heard from zhu yuan that when they first encountered you, you said "dont move" and they were frozen. Then in the castle you used other unrelated abilities. How?

M/n: oh my ability is copy, i can use other peoples powers depending on how much either me or rika consume.

Seth: (consume?) i see haha that's pretty cool.

•further ahead zhu yuan and qingyi were asking kishi questions about his past•

Zhu yuan: so why were you in that castle in the first place? And whats your relationship with m/n?

Kishi: he's an old friends son, i vowed to protect him but.......i dishonoured that vow, as such I'll prove my absolute loyalty to him. As for why i was in the castle, it was my home.

Qingyi: so are you just some guy in knight armour or?

Kishi: i suppose you could say that.

Qingyi: thats stupid.

Zhu yuan: qingyi! dont be so rude! Sorry about her shes.......blunt sometimes.

Kishi: its fine, I've had my fair share of people calling me names. It comes with being a "boogeyman" or whatever it is the kids call me nowadays.

•continuing on in silence our heroes finally make it to the same spot zhu yuan and m/n were in, walking over to the tree he pressed last time and opening the hatch he gestured for everyone to follow him as dropped down into what seemed like darkness•

•once all were down they each turned a respective flashlight on and split up once more, the facility was incredibly large and was presumed empty so it made sense, this time because she didn't wanna deal with their shenanigans qingyi decided to go with m/n and zhu yuan to the north and west side of the facility whilst seth and kishi would go to the south and east sides.
