Sean, Ollie and Tadgh finally went to sleep around ten, and Tadgh is asleep on the chair, and my two other brothers are asleep on the bed, on either side of Shannon, who is still awake looking not very comfortable.
Since all of the boys are asleep she's currently telling me what she didn't earlier.
"Your skirt fell off?" I ask, my eyes widening, and she nods, covering her face with her hands, "It was so embarrassing, Delilah."
"What did Johnny do?"
"He took his jersey off and put it over me.."
My smile widens, and I start laughing. "Oh my god, did he actually?"
Shannon nods her head, "He practically carried me to the office, I actually don't know how I'm supposed to look him in the eye ever again."
"You said he was in fifth year, right? So maybe your paths won't cross?"
"I never thought about that.." She mutters, and the door starts opening slowly, which makes me turn my head around and realise it's only Shannon's nurse.
"Oh, Hi. sorry. I was coming to check on you Shannon, how are you feeling?"
"I feel a bit better, my head still hurts though."
Shannon answers, as she walks further into the room, and then she nods, her blue eyes flit from Shannon to me, then back to my sister again."You guys look seriously alike, so I'm imagining your twins?" I nod, "Yeah, but I'm older than her," I grin, gesturing to Shannon, she rolls her eyes, "By like three minutes."
"And you guys are fifteen, right?"
"Yeah." I say. "But we turn sixteen in two months." Shannon adds on, and the nurse nods, "Oh no way, my youngest sister was born in march. What day were you two born on?"
"Well, I was born on March twelfth at eleven fifty nine, and Shannon was born the next day three minutes later." I explained, and her eyes lit up, "So you were born on the twelfth." She clarifies, pointing to me, then points to Shannon. "And you were born on the thirteenth."
We both nod, and she smiles, and does a few more things, to make sure Shannon is okay and then she leaves saying if we need anything to just call because she'll be right outside.
"What's the time?" Shannon asks and I grab my phone from the bedside table, "It's' almost eleven."
"Right, well I'm gonna try and go to sleep, do you want me to make space for you..?"
I shake my head and stand up from the edge of the bed, "No, it's okay. I have to study, and I should probably call Joey, see if he's okay."
"Oh, yeah. Good idea." Shannon says, as I walk to the table and grab my french book off the table, then i walk towards the door. "Night, Shan."
"Night Del, love you."
I turn the light off and then leave the room, I turn left and walk past a few other rooms before I find an empty hallway with a vending machine in it, so I sit down and stretch my legs out, I rest my french book on my them, and then turn my phone on to call Joey.
