I park my car at school, with Lizzie beside me.
She still hadn't told me what happened between her and Pierce, but if she didn't want to tell me after basically hours of trying to get her to say something, then there's nothing I can do and it's not really my problem anyways.
"Thanks, Patrick." Lizzie says, grabbing her bag and then she climbs out of my car, I give her a small smile as she closes the door.
I watch her walk away, and her distracted by my phone ringing, so I look away and answer Kaelin's call.
"Did Lizzie tell you what happened?"
"Nope, but I tried. I don't doubt she'll go back right into Pierce's arms, anyway."
"Patrick, serious question.."
"I might not answer, but go ahead."
"Do you like Lizzie?"
I laugh then realize she's being serious. "I like her as a friend, Kae. That's it."
"Good, I like Delilah better for you anyway."
I Ignore her last sentence, and say a quick bye before hanging up, I grab my school bag, get out my car and walk over to Gibsie and Hughie who were standing by the back doors.
They nod at me in greeting, and Gibsie looks me up and down, with a grin on his face. "Late night?"
You have no idea.
"Yeah."
"Good on you lad, so how is Delilah?"
Hughie looks over at me wide eyed, "No fucking way, seriously?"
I roll my eyes, shaking my head, "No, It's nothing like that. We were just talking."
"In person?" Hughie asks, confused. "No, over the phone."
"Well what did you talk about?" Gibsie wonders, his eyes bright. "None of your business." I shrug, Hughie laughs, shaking his head.
"Oh come on!" Gibsie whines, "You know what, I'm going to go find her sister, she'll be more help than you." Then he stalks off into the school, with his nose raised in the air.
"How long did you two talk for?" Hughie asked, turning to face me, "Like for an hour, i think."
"And?"
