"Hey, Delilah!"
I ignore whoever's calling me, since I know better than to stop walking because unless it's one of my friends, I would prefer not to turn around.
"Delilah! wait up!" The voice calls again, and I turn my head back to see Nicholas rushing behind me.
I still don't understand why he's talking to me, I mean after lunch yesterday we somehow had the same classes, and he sat with Catherine, Liam and I.
Then while I was with Catherine at the end of the day, because she was waiting for Katie and her boyfriend to come pick her up, He offered to walk me home, but I declined using the I'm waiting for my brother excuse.
I stop walking and wait until catches up with me, and then we both start walking beside each other.
"Is this the way you usually walk?" I questioned looking over at him, he must have been at least 5'9, so he's definitely not as tall as Patrick.
Why am I even thinking about him right now? We haven't texted since he phoned me out of the blue on Friday night.
"No. I go the other way. But I'm walking you home, If you couldn't tell."
"You seriously don't need to do that."
Nicholas shrugged, "I know, but I want to."
Why?
"Okay."
"Are you doing anything later? We could turn around now and go to my house? My parents aren't home."
I almost scoff at the idea. Yeah that is not happening.
"I'm busy later, Sorry."
"That's okay. You have a twin sister, right?"
I nod slightly, "Um, yeah I do. Why do you ask?"
"Just wondering, and she goes to Tommen I heard?"
"Yeah, that's right."
"And why did she leave BCS?"
"Because she just needed a change."
Nicholas nodded understandingly. "I needed a change too."
I turned to him, confused. "What do you mean?"
"Have you wondered why I'm suddenly in all your classes and why you've probably never seen me before Friday?"
Yeah I definitely did wonder that.
