Since Aspen and Kaelin had to go to work today, I had been on Annabeth duty, since she woke up this morning and almost managed to swallow a whole container of pills that are a part of Dad's medication.

Now she's lying in her bed staring up at the ceiling with a lifeless look in her eyes and she hasn't moved in a few hours, I should know because I've been sitting on the chair in her room for those hours, as well.

Annabeth was diagnosed with Depression at seventeen, just like our mother was at the exact same age, and Anna has good and bad days, but clearly today is one of those bad days.

Mam on the other hand hasn't said an actual sentence to me since i was fifteen. So it seems like she has never ending bad days. Even though she's on medication it doesn't seem to be helping. No matter what medication Kae gives her, she stays glued to her bed.

Luckily the meds have been helping Anna, but even after I practically had to force her to take them, she still hasn't gotten up or even said anything.

It's been a really boring day but luckily Kaelin is coming home around six today, which means she should be home in a few minutes.

So I can go out to Biddies for Gibsies seventeenth birthday with him, Kav, Hughie and most of our teammates, and I usually wouldn't leave when Anna is like this but I seriously need to get out of this house.

And the one thing I need right now is to go out with my friends, and I'll probably get drunk to the point of passing out, which is perfectly fine with me because I just need to forget the day I've had.

I hear a car in the driveway, and the moments later the front door opens.

"Patrick! Are you still here?" Kaelin shouts, I stand up off the chair and leave Annabeth's room. "Yeah!" I shout back, running down the stairs.

"How was work?" I ask, as she takes off her shoes, and drops her bag down. "It was fine, How's Anna?"

"The same, she hasn't moved in a few hours."

Kaelin sighs, "I think we need to up her dose of Antidepressants like we did with Mam."

"Yeah, we might have too." I agree, and my phone starts ringing, I look down at it and see it's Hughie, "It's Hugh. Give me a sec." I say to my sister before answering the phone.

"I'll be at your house in five minutes."

"Great. See you then." I hang up the phone and then turn to Kaelin, "I have to go get changed, but just text me if anything happens with Anna."

She nods and I turn around heading back upstairs into my bedroom, I take off my clothes and put on a black t-shirt and gray sweats before I hear a car honk twice outside.

I grab my phone and my wallet, then run downstairs say bye to Kaelin while getting my shoes on and then I walk outside and get into the passenger seat of Hughies car, with Johnny in the back.
