"Fine, I have an idea! Let's swap rooms," Tengen said proudly. "Since Sanemi and Iguro share a room, Kyo and I will move in there. Meanwhile, Sanemi and Iguro can take our room. Good idea, right?" he added with a grin.
Giyu raised his hand immediately. "I'm in," he said, eager to leave Tengen's antics behind.
Iguro scowled. "I'm not moving. We've got exams coming up, and shifting stuff will be a huge hassle."
"Come on, Iguro, please? I'll help you move your stuff," Giyu offered.
Sanemi, secretly thrilled at the idea of sharing a room with Giyu, quickly chimed in, "I don't mind."
Iguro, however, wasn't budging. "Well, I mind!" he said, clearly annoyed.
"Please, Iguro-san," Mitsuri said sweetly. "We'll all help. Just think about Giyu."
At Mitsuri's request, Iguro's resolve faltered. Sighing, he muttered, "Fine. But we'll do it after we come back from our part-time jobs. Got it?"
Everyone nodded in agreement, and they all went to the dining table for breakfast. The meal was filled with teasing and laughter, and afterward, they left for college together. After their respective jobs, they gathered to move the stuff.
"Tengen, take your bedsheet first. I don't want to touch it," Giyu said with a discust look.
"Yeah, yeah, sure," Tengen laughed, grabbing his bedsheet.
As they helped move their things, Tengen looked at Sanemi. "Okay, Shinazugawa, let's move the bed next. It's heavy, so you and I will have to carry it."
Sanemi hesitated. "Wait, we're moving the bed too?" he asked, a little nervous.
"Obviously," Tengen replied, rolling his eyes.
Sanemi panicked internally. "Wait, if they move the bed, I won't get to share it with Giyu! I don't want that." Thinking fast, he said, "Uh, I think we shouldn't move the bed. It's too heavy, you know?"
Kyojuro frowned. "Then where are we going to sleep? We can't sleep on single beds."
"You can just push two single beds together and make one big one," Sanemi suggested quickly. "That way, we won't have to move the bed, and it'll save energy. I'm exhausted from work."
Everyone stood there for a moment, considering the suggestion. Moving the entire bed did sound like a hassle in the middle of the night?
Tengen narrowed his eyes at Sanemi, placing a hand on his shoulder. "What are you up to, huh?" he asked with a smirk.
"What? I'm not up to anything!" Sanemi said defensively. "What could I possibly be planning?"
Tengen grinned wider. "Hmm... maybe trying to get your hands on Giyu's ass?"
"Shut up! I'm not—" Sanemi started, but Tengen interrupted with a laugh.
"I know you're planning to sleep next to Giyu, aren't you?"
Sanemi crossed his arms and looked Tengen dead in the eyes. "What if I am? What are you going to do about it? Don't tell me you're planning to cheat on Kyojiro already with Tomioka."
Tengen chuckled. "Really, you think that? I love Kyo, okay? I'm not into Giyu like that. I just don't want him to get hurt again. If you remember what happened with Sabito... Giyu gave his whole heart to that guy, and look how it ended. I don't want that to happen again. Plus, I don't trust you. First off, you're not even gay, and second, I don't think you're serious about Giyu."
Sanemi's expression darkened. "What if I am serious, Tengen? What will you do then?"
Tengen looked into Sanemi's eyes, searching for hesitation or doubt, but Sanemi was dead serious.
Finally, Tengen sighed. "Fine. I think Shinazugawa's right about not moving the bed. It's too heavy, and we can manage with single beds."
Giyu, sensing the tension, chimed in, "But, Tengen, if we don't move the bed, one of the three of us will have to share a bed. So... who's going to share?"
"I'm not sharing a bed with anyone," Iguro stated firmly.
"Well, then I guess we'll have to share a bed," Sanemi said casually, trying to act nonchalant while sneaking a glance at Giyu.
Giyu raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything, clearly too tired to argue.
"Fine," Tengen said with a shrug. "It's settled. Now let's all go back to our rooms and study. We've got exams."
Sanemi felt a surge of excitement as he settled into bed next to Giyu.
