Sanemi felt a surge of excitement as he settled into bed next to Giyu, while Obanai, on the other side, just seemed to be going along with the new arrangement. Giyu walked into the room wearing a pair of comfortable shorts, looking exhausted. Without saying much, he flopped onto the bed with a groan.
"Today was so exhausting," Giyu mumbled, pulling the blanket over his head.
Sanemi, trying to play it cool, glanced at Giyu and asked, "Giyu, which side do you want to sleep on?"
Giyu, his voice muffled by the blanket, replied, "Any side is fine. I can sleep anywhere."
Sanemi nodded quickly, a little too eager. "Okay then, sleep on this side," he said, patting the right side of the bed, even though Giyu had already plopped down on the left.
Giyu shifted under the blanket, his head still covered. "Hmm," he hummed in response, clearly not paying much attention to Sanemi's enthusiasm.
"We've only got one blanket," Giyu said, peeking out slightly. "If you don't mind, I can grab an extra one for you."
Sanemi, trying not to show how thrilled he was at the idea of sharing a blanket with Giyu, answered a little too quickly, "No, it's fine! The blanket is big enough, I guess."
Giyu shrugged under the blanket, pulling it tighter around himself. "Alright then. Good night," he said, his voice already fading into sleep. "Good night, Iguro."
Obanai, from the other side, muttered, "Yeah, good night."
As the room settled into quiet, Sanemi lay there, wide awake, trying to act normal. But his mind was racing. Sharing a bed with Giyu was a dream come true, but he didn't want to seem too obvious about it. He kept glancing over at Giyu, watching as he shifted slightly in his sleep, oblivious to the fact that Sanemi was internally panicking.
Sanemi thought to himself, "Okay, just breathe. It's fine. You're just sharing a bed. Nothing weird. Totally normal."
But as soon as he tried to relax, Giyu rolled over, his arm accidentally brushing against him. Sanemi's heart nearly exploded. He froze, staring up at the ceiling, willing himself not to move. He didn't dare breathe too loudly.
Morning came soon, and Sanemi's heart soared when he woke up with Giyu sleeping in his arms, nestled like a baby. His plan to share a bed with Giyu had been a complete success, and waking up next to him made Sanemi feel a strange mix of happiness and nerves. He carefully untangled himself, grabbed his towel, and went to the bathroom to shower.
After his bath, Sanemi returned to the room. Obanai wasn't there, and he noticed Giyu awake, sitting by the window, gazing outside.
"What are you doing, Giyu?" Sanemi asked as he opened the wardrobe and started getting his uniform out.
Giyu turned his head slightly, a playful, dramatic tone in his voice as he said, "Just waiting for my prince charming, someone who will love my soul, not just my body. And when he comes, he won't bring me flowers... no, he'll bring me the moon and the stars."
Sanemi chuckled, shaking his head at Giyu's theatrics. "You're unbelievable," he muttered with a smile. Just as he was about to say more, Obanai walked into the room, carrying his books.
"Get your dramatic ass away from that window. We're going to be late for college," Obanai said, slipping his books into his bag with a sigh.
"Oh, come on, Obanai, it's time for him to go to the gym," Giyu said with a mischievous grin, making Obanai roll his eyes knowingly.
Sanemi didn't quite get it, feeling a bit confused. "Who are you waiting for, Giyu?" he asked, a hint of jealousy creeping into his voice.
Obanai, who was already packing up his things, snorted. "He's waiting for that stupid, muscular guy who walks by every day on his way to the gym," he explained with an irritated sigh. Sanemi could feel his jealousy flaring up.
Just as Obanai finished speaking, Giyu perked up. "Iguro! He's coming!" Giyu said, practically bouncing in his seat with excitement.
Sanemi and Obanai joined him at the window, looking out to see the guy Giyu had been referring to. The guy was tall, with a well-built, muscular body, shining blond hair, and light green eyes. Despite his strong frame, he had a soft, almost cute face. There was no denying it—he was both handsome and adorable at the same time.
Sanemi's stomach churned with jealousy and frustration. He hated the guy already, even though he didn't know a single thing about him.
"Fine, you've seen him. Now get your ass ready for college," Obanai said, snapping Giyu out of his window-gazing.
"Okay, fine," Giyu said with a smile, getting up from the window and heading towards the bathroom.
As Giyu walked away, Sanemi lingered by the window, still staring after the muscular guy who had unknowingly sparked a storm of jealousy inside him.
Who is this guy, and why does Giyu seem so interested in him? Sanemi thought, feeling a growing irritation as the guy walked down the street, completely unaware of the emotional chaos he'd caused.
