The next morning, Sanemi woke up to find Giyu sleeping peacefully in his arms. A sense of happiness and relief washed over him as he looked down at Giyu's calm face. Gently, he brushed a strand of hair away from Giyu's eyes, tucking it behind his ear. The light touch made Giyu stir.
"Hmm... Shinazugawa... Go-good morning..." Giyu mumbled in his sleepy voice, his eyes half-open.
Sanemi chuckled softly, leaning closer. "Good morning, Giyu," he whispered in his ear, his voice tender.
Giyu hummed in response, starting to drift back to sleep. But then, a voice from down the hall startled him. "Whose duty is it to make the morning coffee?"
Giyu's eyes shot open, wide with realization. "Shit, I think it's mine," he muttered to himself.
He looked up and noticed that Sanemi was still holding him in his arms. "Shinazugawa," he said, trying to wiggle free.
"Oh, yeah..." Sanemi chuckled awkwardly, loosening his hold. "Sorry about that. We just fell asleep here, remember?" His voice had a hint of panic, feeling a bit embarrassed about the situation.
"Yeah, I remember," Giyu replied, stretching as he got up. "Why are you panicking?"
"I'm not panicking!" Sanemi quickly defended himself, trying to act cool.
Giyu just shook his head before heading to the kitchen to start breakfast, since it was his turn. As he was cooking, Kyojuro entered the kitchen, looking a bit groggy. Giyu shot him a mischievous grin.
"So, how was your night, Kyo? You can still walk, right? Tengen's pretty huge, you know," Giyu teased, unable to resist.
Kyojuro's face turned bright red. "Shut up, Giyu!" he barked, trying to hide his embarrassment.
Giyu laughed and continued, "I can't believe it, though. You and Tengen have been a thing this whole time, and here I was thinking it was just friendship. The way he looks at you..." He trailed off, smirking as he steamed the rice.
Kyojuro avoided eye contact, his blush deepening, but before he could respond, Tengen strolled into the kitchen, looking as flashy as ever.
"What's for breakfast, Giyu?" Tengen asked as he poured himself a cup of coffee.
"Well, we've got steamed rice, miso soup, grilled fish, pickles, natto, tamagoyaki, nori, and some vegetables for salad," Giyu replied with a mischievous grin. "Oh, and I have something very special for you."
Tengen raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? What's that?"
Giyu grinned wider. "Well, everything will be served on Kyo's ass, the rice ball, miso soup, grilled fish, pickles, natto, tamagoyaki, nori, and the salad."
Tengen's eyes lit up with amusement. "Really? Wow, I'd love that setup And, Giyu, maybe you could throw in some pineapples for a little extra flavor. Fruits are good for health, you know."
"Pineapples, huh? I don't mind," Giyu said, grinning mischievously.
Kyojuro, catching on to the teasing, turned bright red. "Shut up, you bastards. You're both insane! I'm gonna kill you!" he yelled, grabbing a pan from the counter and chasing after them.
Tengen and Giyu burst out laughing as they bolted from the kitchen, running in circles around the couch to avoid Kyo's wrath.
Kyojuro, pan in hand, shouted, "Come back here! I swear I'll make you regret this!"
