TAYLOR'S POV

"Three days?! Taylor you'd wanna be mad to go given your condition." My mom practically yells through the phone.

"Mom, calm down. I've been through all of this with Travis three times today and we've decided that if I think I'll be okay, I can go. I'll be fine, there's no need to worry."

"Of course I'm gonna worry, Tay. You're three days away from your due date and you wanna go to a football game with a two year old, surrounded by all of those people? You're crazy."

"Did you seriously just call me - your nine months pregnant daughter - crazy? Wow mom, wow."

"Oh come on you know I didn't mean it," She sighs heavily. "I'm just worried it's gonna be too much. I mean what if something happens while you're gone? What if you or Y/n get hurt? Or what if you go into labour and you can't tell Travis until after the game? By then it could be too late, he might not make it out on time and -"

"Mom! I've got this, okay? Me and the baby will be fine, and so will Y/n. If anything does happen, Trav's parents will be there so they can help. I have this all thought out and I'm prepared for literally anything."

"Alright then, just please be careful. We can't have anything happening to you three."

"I know but nothing is gonna happen, I promise."

"Okay, I'll let you go now. Make sure you have fun."

"Thanks, I love you!"

"Love you too, bye bye."

"Bye mom."

I hang up the phone, turning towards Y/n on my bed.

"Baby?"

She lifts her head to look up at me, her small hand still stroking Meredith's soft fur as all three cats surround her on the bed.

"Are you ready to go see daddy play? We've gotta get going now if we wanna be on time."

She purses her lips, staying silent for a second as if she's weightng up her options, well, option.

"Okay." She sighs with a small nod.

She scoots to the edge of the bed, gently dropping down onto the floor and running over to me.

I gather our things, grabbing my bag from the bed before I feel Y/n tug at my leggings to get my attention.

I look down to be met with the sight of Y/n holding up a very clueless Dibbles.

"Kitties come too?"

"No baby girl, the kitties have to stay here and guard the house, remember?" I sigh, her  attachment to the cats is adorable but in situations like this, it'd be better if she didn't like them at all.

"Awwh," She whines, lowering the cat down and holding her to her chest. She places a kiss on Dibbles' head and places her back on the bed before kissing the other two and making her way back to me. "Okay mama."

"Okay what?"

"I done now." She says, clearly slightly upset that the cats can't come with us to the game, but then again she's always been so understanding.
