It was nice being around Killua. Even under his father's and Killua's friend's curious gaze.
They've been together more than ever. Gon keeps thinking that Killua will be tired of him soon but he keeps looking up at him with that brilliant grin.
Ging keeps calling him smitten. He's probably right. Killua could ask him to blow up his own hand and he'd do it. As long as those eyes stayed on him, he'd do just about anything.
Kurapika and the loud one are even coming around. They've pulled whatever stick was up their asses and got over the fact that he was here to stay and wasn't leaving Killua alone anytime soon.
Leorio likes the quiz him on pointless things while Kurapika would rather sit in silence.
Gon doesn't mind either. Not when Killua smiles so beautifully at seeing him with his closest friends.
So yeah, it was nice being around Killua.
Killua wants him to hang out with his favorite person, his little sister Alluka. Apparently, she's the sweetest little girl in the world but the way she's glaring at Gon with the same deep blue eyes as her brother, he can tell that she definitely is not the sweetest little girl.
Killua doesn't seem to notice the glare, or maybe he doesn't care. The little shit probably set him up.
But Gon wasn't scared, no. Why would he be scared of a twelve-year-old little girl who definitely can't bench half of what he can?
"Alluka wanted to meet you properly" Killua explains unhelpfully.
"Hi." His greeting is short and curt. Her eyes narrow slightly and Gon is left to tug on the collar of his t-shirt.
She looks him up and down once more before smiling innocently as if she wasn't trying to assassinate him with her stare alone.
It must run in the family.
"Hello." Gon musters up the courage to small politely. His eyes flick to Killua for help, but Killua looks so happy at them interacting.
Even if Gon is a little nervous, and Gon doesn't get nervous he's run from law enforcement and school administrators with a grin. So his nerves are perfectly fine, but under the scrutinizing gaze of a tiny twelve-year-old child who has the eyes of a trained killer, his nerves are practically deteriorating.
Killua goes to stand next to him, taking his hand in his soft ones. "We should play a game or watch something."
Alluka finally looks at her brother and she's smiling so happily.
"Let's play a game! I can go grab Milluki's console!"
"Okay, bring it to my room." She nods excitedly and rushes off. Leaving the two of them alone.
Gon sighs out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. He sags back onto Killua.
"That girl is evil."
"Oh don't tell me she intimidated you. Alluka wouldn't hurt a fly." Killua takes him to his room and pulls him to sit next to him on his bed.
Being in Killua's room will never not make Gon relax. It feels like a big hug from Killua. His mind is wrapped in Killua's scent and he feels like floating.
Gon falls on his back, letting his head hit the too-soft pillows. Killua smiles gently.
"I won't let Alluka hurt you." It comes off teasingly, but the way his pale hand rubs comforting at his stomach makes it sound like a promise.
"Swear it?" He childishly holds out his pinky.
Doesn't seem too childish when Killua giggles softly and takes his pinky with his own. Wrapping them around each other.
