(Jakes POV)

I sat up abruptly on my bed, awakening from sleep. I felt uneasy and sweat was dripping from my forehead. An edgy feeling crawled up my spine as I felt like I wasn't alone, as if another presence was in my room with me, watching me. 

I frantically looked around my room, my eyes stopping and resting on my closet as I watched two glowing orbs staring back at me. 

"Who's there!" I shouted.

The presence didn't say anything, I looked into the intense glowing blue eyes that held a strong stare. I got up out of my bed and walked over to the closet, but just as I was about to open it up, the mute presence darted out of my bed room window faster then anything I had seen before. I ran over to my window, staring outside, nothing. I took a few steps backwards, flopping onto my bed.

What the fuck, just happened.

Could it have been... a vampire?

No... I thought back to the strong eyes that stared into my soul. 

HOLY SHIT! 

A VAMPIRE WAS IN MY ROOM...

But why didn't it attack me then? Maybe because I walked up to it? Maybe it got afraid? But why would such a creature be afraid of a human? It doesn't make sense... Eh, well, right now... I'm either too tired, or too sober for this, heck, maybe both. 

I grasped a bit of the blanket and pulled it up over myself, twisting onto my front and laying my head in my pillow, falling back asleep.
