Chapter 7

(Jake's POV)

I woke up to the feeling of cold breath crawling down my neck. I turned my head, looking behind me to see Johnnie laying down on the couch behind me, his arm over my hip bone. I lightly got up, being sure not to wake him. 

I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, tracing my fingers over the two small holes punctured into my neck. My mind traveled back to last night, as flashbacks of the kiss Johnnie and I shared entered my thoughts. 

I walked back out to the living room and stared down at the vampire sleeping on my couch, he looked flawless, like he came straight out of a movie. I knelt down next to the couch, raising my hand to his face, and brushing some of his hair away.

(Johnnie's POV)

I felt Jake's cold finger tips lightly touch my skin. I opened my eyes and sat up.

"Morning Jake" I Said with a smile, it was the truest smile I've ever had on my face.

Jake returned the smile "Morning Vampy".

I blushed a little at the name, and then remembered that we kissed last night.

(Jake's POV)

I looked at Johnnie, his usual pale skin turning a light pink, was he... was he blushing?

"Uhm, well, I need to go out, but I'll be back soon, so just feel free to roam around the house, learn where things are".

(Johnnie's POV)

He was inviting me to look around his home... no one had accepted me before Jake, he was allowing me to stay here, even after accidentally causing him to go unconscious from drinking his blood.

"Oh, yeah, thanks".

"Yep! Well, see ya, i'll be back in half an hour" Jake said, walking out the door.

(5 minutes later)

I walked around the house, finding where all the rooms were, and then walked passed the room I was in the first time I saw Jake. His bedroom. I creaked open the door, and walked up to the wardrobe I hid in 2 nights ago. I opened it up and ran my hand passed his clothing, stopping at a misfit shirt. I took it off the hanger and stared at it, I use to have one like it back as a teenager. 

I held it in my hand whilst further looking around his room. He had a sweet electrical guitar on a stand beside his bed, it was a dark red with some black, it looked awesome. I wonder what type of music he plays.... I flopped onto his bed, his sheets and pillows were soaked in his scent. I rolled around, and then felt stupid, so I just turned over onto my belly, burying my head into his pillow, and holding the misfit shirt at my chest.

(Mean while with Jake)

Living with a vampire was going to come with its difficulty's, but I was willing to still do it. I hadn't asked Johnnie if he would like to live with me yet, but I was sure he would say yes. I looked over the meat in the cooling area in the shop, I decided to just grab the same one I had last time, as well as some lamb. Johnnie would need something to feed on if I wasn't home, or if he got hungry and I was asleep. I'm a deep sleeper, so he probably wouldn't be able to wake me up. 

I stocked the meat into my shopping basket and grabbed some Diet Coke and monsters on the way out. Then I went to the check out. The line was longer than I expected, there's a chance now that I may arrive 10 minutes later then I said I would. Roughly 6 minutes later it was my turn to check out.
