(Jake's POV)
Johnnie and I talked for a while and I learn't more about his life before vampire hood. Apparently vampires had to leave everything behind after turning, but he said he didn't mind that because his life was pretty shit anyway. He told me that one day when he was walking home, he got mugged on the street, and when he tried to fight back, the guy pulled out a knife and stabbed him, he was left there in an alley way to bleed out, until a vampire came and saved him, which is how he turned.
"So, how's it like drinking the blood from humans? Like, do you aim for healthier blood or what?" I asked.
Johnnie looked down, and then began to speak.
"We'll, from what I've heard, it doesn't matter about the blood type or anything, how ever, I've never actually drunken from... a human"
"Oh... I see".
"Yeah... I've tried in the past, but then I always get scarred for the chance that I can't control my blood thirst, there have been stories told about vampires who end up killing the ones they feed on, and I would never want to do that, so, I've never had the guts to feed on some one".
I looked at Johnnie, he was harmless, a thought ran to my brain, and I spat it out with out even thinking about it.
"I mean... if you want... you can try me..."
