(Jakes POV)

I slowly opened my eyes, until they shot open fast as flashbacks from last night entered my mind. I sat up on my bed, lightly pushing some of my blanket off. I rose my hand to my head and scratched my hair, thinking about the presence in my room, that I now knew to be a vampire.

I thought about the fast movement it made... there's no way a human could have ever done that...

Then, I thought about the blue eyes again, the intense glow they radiated, I felt like just staring into them, I would spill all my secrets. Could vampires do that?

I got up and went to the kitchen, pulling out a sandwich stuffed with chicken and a monster drink. I sat down on my couch in front of my TV, placed my food and drink onto the table, picked up my phone, and proceeded to ring Colby, 

...

"Hey, this is Colby Brock"

"Hey Colby!"

"Ayyy, was'up my man?"

"Uhhh, we'll, I think a vampire was in my room last night..."

"Woahhh, are you alright dude!?"

"Yeah... I'm fine"

"Hang on, lemme grab Sam"

I waited for about 2 seconds before the phone started echoing sound through out my house again.

"Dude! That's crazy! Are you okay Jake?"

"Yeah, I'm fine Sam".

"Well, I hope it doesn't happen again dude, maybe look into some spiritual things to help your house be protected".

"Yeah, thanks Sam, I'll be sure to do that, well, I should probably go now..."

"Okay, bye, good luck dude".

Classic Sam, he's always been into spiritual things, I didn't believe, not fully, I'm kind of open minded to everything, so maybe, I should give it a try.

I flicked to Google and started researching protection against vampires, of course the classics popped up, Garlic, Crucifixes, all that, I continued scrolling down... The Open Ritual, Protection against Vampires.

Hmm, i clicked onto it.

The Open Ritual, in your home, open all your doors, and sprinkle garlic flakes onto the top of the door, then, tie some rope to each door handle, after that, you should proceed to say the words below. 

Before reading the rest, I went out to the shop to buy some salt and rope, and then returned home, doing as the directions said. After I had finished it on all the doors, I walked around my house, repeating the words...

"Let the salt protect my home, from the creatures outside that roam, let the string protect my life, let it be the vampires knife, Let the salt protect my home, from the creatures outside that roam, let the string protect my life, let it be the vampires knife, let the salt..."

After finishing the ritual, I sat down on my couch, exhausted. I didn't feel any different, but maybe I was just too tired, I laid down on the cushions on my couch, and went to sleep.
