Shit-talking with Kip and Bash was the usual for the next three weeks during her time back home. She'd either be spending time with Andi and trying to recover or at the barn and helping with the ranch hands since they had gotten new supplies in.

Ty and Kip had gotten back into their usual routine but they didn't speak about the drugs or Heath and his friends, deciding to leave it be since it had both of them at each other's heads. She knew better than to bring up Dalton at her last ride because there would be no going back if anyone knew that information.

Quinn avoided her but that didn't bother her, he was in the back of her mind anyway. The twins and Casey, however, were often visited by her since they were about to turn two months old.

Luckily, her arm had started healing on its own and she kept it in the sling now that it was out of the cast per her request. Her collarbone was healed but had left a scar in its wake but to her, it was just another left branded onto her skin.

Her ribs felt better but she'd catch herself inhaling a sharp breath when she moved a certain way so she tried to steer clear of any and all movements that wouldn't contract any pain.

"Dad's on another date? You think he's gettin' some?" Kip smirked as the two carried feed bags into the barn.

Ty's face scrunched up in disgust at his question and she made it known when she turned her head up to glare at him. "The fuck? Why would I want to think about that? Your thought process concerns me, Kip."

He dropped the bag from off his shoulder and they watched it fall onto the stack of bags before he held his hands out in defense. "I'm just saying. You know, he stays out late at night sometimes and he's usually gone most of the week now. His schedule is free this month. Makes you wonder what he's doing."

Ty watched her brother wiggle his eyebrows as his shoulders shook in laughter before she, too, dropped her bag of feed onto the stack with a huff.

"I don't want to know what our Dad is doing with his girlfriend, I have other thoughts to worry about." She grumbled, shoving his shoulder as she scoffed. "Ugh, you fucker, now I can't get the image out of my head."

Kip clutched his chest as he laughed out loud while she continued walking back to her truck to grab another bag of feed.

"You've got nothing better to do, you know that." He chuckled from behind her, sliding another bag from the bed of her truck.

"I should be done with my first week of Bull riding if it wasn't for that fucking rope. Those lucky bastards." Ty grumbled, knowing she was missing out on the last rides before the World Championship which was in three weeks.

"Now, now," He started, irritating her with a tsk. "you'd rather be here anyway, don't lie to yourself. Don't you just love Quinn glaring at you like you're the worst person he's ever laid eyes on?"

Ty rolled her eyes and disappeared into the barn which left Kip to halt in his tracks once he heard a vehicle driving into the ranch. He turned his head and noticed the familiar black car that belonged to his brother's best friend.

"No shit. Why's he back?" He called out, his eyes trailing the car as it approached the barn.

Kip spit out his dip from inside his lip at the same time Ty trudged out of the barn, her eyes narrowed in confusion as to whom he could be talking about.

When she set her green eyes on the black car, she let out a loud groan and wondered what he could be doing there. She hadn't seen him since the night before the horse show. Three weeks.

She turned away from the car and avoided it at all costs, moving around Kip who was standing still in his spot to grab another bag. "Nothin' but trouble is what he is. No wonder he's Quinn's best friend, they both have the same mindset."
