Perfect/ Legolas Greenleaf

Chapter seventeen

Right now, something similar to a party was going on. It was to celebrate the victory of the first war.

Theoden held out his glass, making everyone stand up as he began to speak.

"Tonight we remember those who gave their blood to defend this country. Hail the victorious dead."

"Hail!"Everyone replied and took a sip from their drink.

The party has been going for a while now, and many were drinking. Everyone was chatting, laughing and having fun. Which was well earned and deserved after the battle.

Luna was standing beside Legolas as he took a beer from Eomer.

"No pauses. No spills."He explained.

"And no regurgitation."Gimli added.

"So it's a drinking game?"Legolas asked, making Luna chuckled.

"Yes, it is."She smiled and patted his shoulder.

"Last one standing wins."Gimli grinned and began to drink. Luna raised her eyebrows as she watched them.

Legolas drank glass after glass but it didn't seemed to affect him while Gimli...well there it was the complete opposite. Luna was laughing here and there while drinking her wine.

"It's the Dwarves that go swimming with little, hairy women."Gimli randomly said and drank out of his glass again.

"I feel something."Legolas spoke up making Luna turn to him.

"What?"She asked with an amused smile.

"A slight tingle in my fingers."Legolas turned to Luna,"I think it's affecting me."

"What did I say? He can't hold his liquor."Gimli said, his speech slurred, before he passed out making Luna laugh.

"Game over."Legolas commented a slight smile on his face as he turned to Luna again.

"Congratulations, meleth nin!"Luna said not really realizing what she had said until Legolas gave her a look.(my love)

"What did you call me?"He asked.

"Hmm?"Luna tried to play dumb.

"You just called me meleth nin."Legolas repeated himself, as he couldn't hold himself back from feeling happy.

"I did?"Luna asked.

"Don't play dumb with me, Luna."Legolas sighed,"I liked it."He murmured but Luna understood.

A smile formed on her face,"You did?"

"Yes, I suppose so."

"Then I shall continue call you that, just when you give me a nickname too."

"I will."Legolas said with a smile before an idea popped up in his mind,"And you know what I will too?" Luna turned to him again,"Can I ask you for a dance?"

"Of course."Luna smiled and took his hand in hers.

It was now night, Legolas and Luna were outside while everyone was asleep. Of course it was cold but Luna didn't seemed to care as she continued to talk with Legolas.

"You know, I noticed you staring at me in the middle of the battle. What was that about?"Legolas suddenly asked as he couldn't hold back his curiosity anymore.

Luna opened her mouth to answer but closed it again as she had to think about it herself at first. She never thought about it deeply. But she does often stare at Legolas, but now it's becoming even more. And she does feel something in her heart whenever he's around, and her heart skips a beat when he wraps his arms around her or kisses her forehead. Or lets her sleep in his bed because she doesn't like to be alone, even if she never told it anyone.
