After Gandalf had literally called his horse, Shadowfox, to him they had begun their ride to Rohan.

It was night so they were taking a break for the night, Gandalf and Aragorn were talking while Luna was sitting beside Legolas, re-braiding his hair.

"Sauron is growing stronger."Luna whispered her voice calm and soft,"I can feel it. Not long and the odds will decide if they are in our favor, or not."

"You think so?"Legolas whispered back.

"Yes."Luna replied,"We must trust Frodo to destroy the ring before Sauron grows too strong. Either way, we are not going back home without a war."

"I know. Saruman is forming the army, armies if so. They definitely aren't going to be small. But first we must focus on curing king Théoden, I believe the wizard can cure the ill that lies upon him."

"Maybe."Luna nodded,"But I cannot stop thinking about the war. I have been hoping Frodo could destroy the ring before the army was this big, but the hoping was useless. Now, I can only hope that he manages to destroy the ring. The rest...he may leave to us."

Legolas nodded,"Indeed, we will do the rest. Frodo already has the burden to bear the ring. And to the war, Luna, you shouldn't overthink it like you always do. Everything is going to be okay in the end."

"Easier said than done."Luna whispered before patting his shoulder gesturing that she had finished his braid before she laid down,"Goodnight, Legolas."

"Goodnight."

The next day they had managed to reach Edoras without any problems, no Orcs were near neither anything else.

"Edoras and the Golden hall of Meduseld. There dwells Theoden, King of Rohan, whose mind is overthrown. Saruman's hold over King Theoden is now very strong."Gandalf explained,"Be careful what you say. Do not look for welcome here."

"All right."Luna murmured as she patted Onyx making as the horse started to gallop.

"You'll find more cheer in a graveyard."Gimli spoke as they rode through the village. The mood somber and not one single person looked genuinely happy.

No one replied as they stopped somewhere and Luna jumped off her horse. As they began to walk she couldn't help but grasp Legolas hand, as if seeking some comfort or reassurance.

A couple of guards were in front of them before they could enter the castle, Luna glared at them as if already knowing their words.

"I cannot allow you before King Theoden so armed, Gandalf greyhame. By order of Grima Wormtongue."One of the guards, which seemed to be the head-guard spoke.

Guards stepped forward to take the weapons, everyone seemed to give their weapons just fine, well until one of the guards tried to take Luna's quiver which she was...let's say really protective about. It was the last thing she had from her father, the last thing he gave her. It was a present from him she got to her birthday, twelve years before he father passed.

As the guard grabbed the quiver, as if on instinct she grabbed his arm and twisted it backwards,"Don't you dare touch this you filthy bastard."She snapped.

"Luna!"Aragorn spoke but Luna didn't let go of the guard, quite the opposite she instead tightened her grip. Aragorn turned to Legolas who seemed quite shocked yet protective over the scenery.

"Luna. No aero, athrabetham hen dan bâd. Gweston nin."Legolas whispered into her ear in elvish, placing his hand on her hip area as he slowly pulled her away from the guard.(Calm down, we are going to get it back right after. I promise you.)
