Gimli, Aragorn, Legolas and Luna were all with the men of Rohan who were getting weapons. Luna knew many weren't ready for a war, never had a weapon in their hands even once. There even were kids! And she had already had to reassure some because they were scared. And goddamn was making her all this angry.

"Farmers, farriers, stable boys. These are not soldiers."Aragorn spoke.

"Most have seen too many winters."Gimli said.

"Or too few."Legolas added,"Look at them. They're frightened. I can see it in their eyes."

Everything fell kind of silent as Luna nodded at Legolas words, seeming to agree with them.

"A bain in boe. Nêl cened... nan pae mîn!"Luna exclaimed in elvish, not wanting to say her words in front of the poker to frighten them more.(And they should be. Three hundred... against ten thousand!).

"Gâr amdir vell ben viritha ad lín sí na Edoras."Aragorn spoke.(They have more hope of defending themselves here than at Edoras.)

"Ú-varir denna maeth. Bain dorthar na gur!"Legolas said his voice serious, trying to make Aragorn understand.(They cannot win this fight. They will all die!)

"Then I shall die as one of them!"Aragorn retorted, after that he turned around and left.

"Let him go, lad."Gimli spoke as Legolas tried to follow Aragorn,"Let him be."

"This is ridiculous Legolas!"Luna sighed as she took her armor on. She had decided on changing for the war as fighting in what she was wearing isn't going to be easy. Just imagine if its rains, her clothes would be soaked and transparent as they are white,"They are children, how can Theoden be so heartless and have them fight instead of calling for aid?"She asked, trying to hold tears out of her eyes because of the thought that these kids will die.

"I don't know, Luna. But we can't change that."Legolas murmured as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder to pull her closer.

"This is so wrong."

"I know. Maybe a miracle happens, who knows."Legolas responded.

"Legolas?"

"Hmm?"

"Promise me one thing, please."Luna spoke.

"Anything."Legolas replied.

"Promise me you be careful. And that we stay close."Luna said, her tone serious as she stared into his eyes.

"I promise."

...

Legolas held out Aragorn's sword for him as Luna stood beside him.

"We have trusted you this far. You have not led us astray. Forgive me. I was wrong to despair."Legolas spoke.

"My apologies too. I never meant to imply that I was doubting you."Luna apologized, which she honestly does rarely.

"Úliel nad tôl dínen."Aragorn responded making both elves smile.

That was when Gimli walked in,"We had time, I'd get this adjusted."He let the armor fall, showing that it was too long, making Luna chuckle,"It's a little tight across the chest."

Before anyone could reply, an horn was heard from above.

"That is no orc horn."Legolas stated as he began to run up, Luna and the rest following.
