It's been about a week since I took that pregnancy test, I then called my doctor and made an appointment with him. Sebastian and I talked and we decided it would be nice to let Leo come with us, he's gonna be the first one to know, except for Chris, and he'll have to keep the secret with us. We want him involved since the very first moments!
"Where are we going?" He asks as we're in the car and Sebastian is driving to my doctor office "We're going to see a special doctor for mommy" Seb says looking in the rear view mirror "Why? Are you not good?" He asks me "I am...it's just that Seb and I are pretty sure that I have a baby in my belly..." "Really?" "Yup!" "How did it get in your belly?" Bit Seb and I blush a bit and while I can't say anything Seb answers him "Well...one day we're gonna explain it to you..." "Ok...so I'm gonna be a big brother?" "Yeah...what do you think of it?" I ask "Cool!" "Good..." I say looking back at Sebastian who breaths in deeply as he parks the car "he's happy...you've got nothing to worry about..."
We get in, there basically no one in here so I get called in very quickly. "Ok so now that we've got your urine test back which says that you are pregnant Ms. Bianchi, I think we should check it out" "Sure" He lets me get on the bed and I pull up my shirt, Sebastian and Leo sitting by my side "So little man...you know what I'm doing here?" "Yup! Mommy and daddy told me you're gonna look with a special wand if my baby brother or sister is good!" "Exactly...and are you happy about becoming a big brother?" "Very!" "Ok, here it is. Congratulations mom and dad" the doctor says turning the monitor to us so we could see "Aww" I say and then look at my boys reactions. Leo was frowning while Sebastian was letting his tears run freely on his cheeks. I love my hand to wipe them and he kisses my hand "God I love you" he whispers before kissing me "Love you more! It's amazing isn't it?" "Yup, never seen an ultrasound before it's...absolutely incredible!" "What do you think Leo?" "Uhm...that's not a human..." he says making us giggle "It is, it just has to form properly before..." the doctor explains him "that's why it will stay in your moms belly a few more months. So it can grow strong and healthy and then it'll come out to meet you" "Mhm" "Thanks doc..." Sebastian says picking Leo up from his seat and putting him on his legs "Your baby measures 6 weeks and 3 days. Would you like me to print you these?" "Yes please" "I'll let you get sorted while I'll print these and find you your next appointment slot" "Thank you" After wiping the gel from my belly I pull my shirt down and grab my things. "Here's your prints, and your next appointment will be at 20 weeks. Don't hesitate to contact me if you think there's something wrong, I really hope not to see you before your 20 weeks, it'll mean everything is going well" "Thank you!"
Exiting the place and going back home Leo was full of questions and he eventually fell asleep. "Ok, he's in his bed" "Thanks Seb" "Sure" he says sitting down next to me "I cannot believe it" "Me neither...now I believe we've got some talking to do..." "Wedding wise?" "Yup" "So my question is...do you want to wait until after the baby?" "No...I'd rather have it before" "Ok, got a date in mind?" "No...I want you to pick out the date since I choose the place" "Mhm...would it be to cheesy to get married in Valentine's Day?" "I don't think so..." "So it's a yes?" "Destination wedding in Italy on valentines day sounds pretty good to me!" "Yay!" He says making me laugh "you're ok with being six months pregnant?" "I am!" "Ok, then it's settled!" "It is!"
