*Sebastian pov*

We've now been in the hospital room with our moms for a couple of hours now, Alice has been checked three times and she's still always at 8 cm.
"It's progressing slowly now, which might happen but I'm happy to hear baby's heartbeat is back to normal" her obgyn says
"Made us worry for a sec" I say kissing Alice's head
"He did. I'll leave you to relax, try to get as much rest as possible mama"
"I will, thanks doc"
"Later!"
Once he exits the room Alice asks to be helped up to a standing position. She's now starting to feel the contractions more.
"What do you want me to do baby?"
"Hug me?"
"Of course"
I hug her from behind, I know she loves it when I do it, and start to gently and slowly sway us from left to right
"You are doing amazing doll"
"We'll see about that later" she says
"Don't say it, you really are doing good"
"Mhm"
I kiss her neck a few times and I feel her relax in my arms a little bit
"Can we face time Leo?" She asks
"I think we can, we just have to wait another half hour before he's out of school"
"Ok"
We also walked a bit in the room, luckily for us the delivery rooms are quite big so you have a lot of space to move in and then I helped her sit down on the big bouncy ball.

Still at 8 cm but baby Stan heartbeat went back to normal!

That's really good to hear!
How's our girl hanging in there?

Sebastian
She's feeling a bit more the contractions now and I think she's getting a bit restless...

Daisy
Well she's been stuck at 8cm so it's very understandable

Your moms are there?

Sebastian
Yup, tested negative and got masked up. They are keeping us company, helping out and giving precious advice!

Chace
And how are you doing?

Chris
You asking him that, he's like me...

Sebastian
I am ready but at the same time scared, I try not to show it but I know she knows...

Daisy
And she'll also read it now...

Sebastian
Yeah...
She's so much calmer than I am...
I mean she's in pain and all but she's not nervous at all
I am, really am!

Chris
It's normal to be bud!
Plus it's your first time, she's done this before, doesn't mean she's not scared or something but consider that it's your first time!

I did some counter pressure massage on her back while she was feeling the worst contractions for the first time today and when she felt better she laid back down and we called Camilla and spoke with Leo.
Camilla told him what was happening so when he got on the phone he already knew
"Mom are you ok?"
"I am baby, just in a bit of pain, but that will pass as soon as your brother will be here"
"Mhm ok..." he says not sounding convinced
"Mama is really strong bud"
"I know...where are you gonna come back home? Grandpa says we're moving..."
"We are" I tell him
"We're gonna be home as soon as the doctors clear us, maybe even tomorrow night or the next day in the morning...and yes we're gonna be in our new house. Are you excited?"
"Yes, but more about baby brother!"
"I love you amore mio"
"Love you too mamma, and you too daddy"
"Love you bud" I say and we send him a kiss before briefly talking with Camilla and closing the call.
