The next day at 11am , I woke up sore , my back was SO stiff because of my awful sleeping position. I yawned and dragged myself out of my room and downstairs , rubbing my eyes. Walking into the living room, i was that my mom was drinking her coffee on the table , scrolling on her phone .

"Mornin' momm" I said with a tired voice as I walked behind her and kissed her head as a goodmorning. "Goodmorning honey, how did you sleep? You must've sleep well seeing how much fun you had out yesterday." She said as she continued drinking her coffee.
"I slept good , the second my head hit the pillow , I fell right asleep. First time in awhile that it happened." I said as I went and poured myself a bowl of cereals .

"That's nice hun. Glad that you got good sleep."
Mom said as she finished her coffee and got up while I sat down with my cereal.

"Where's dad by the way?" I asked looking around , confused not seeing him around.

"He went out for a walk early." She replied with a shrug.
"Oh by the way hun , we're Invited to dinner tonight at 8 with a family I met yesterday while groceries shopping." Mom added as she put her cup away . "Really? That's nice , your making friends too mom." I teased her with a chuckle as she walked away laughing . "Of course I am , who do you think I am?" She said with a laugh before walking upstairs . I chuckled as I ate some cereals. Taking my phone out I checked my phone , seeing a message from Kenny asking if I wanted to hang out with him today. I thought for a second . I mean I already hung out with them yesterday. It was fun yeah .. but I don't know .. well I have nothing else to do anyways , so why not. I texted him back ..

Gosh that guy , is SO down bad. I would have dated him , but he isn't the love interest of this story.

I finished my cereal and went to shower, after finishing my shower and getting ready for the day , I had some time to play . So I loaded up my pc and played Minecraft for a while. At 3 I heard the bell ring and went downstairs , my mom was already at the door. "Oh hello young man!" She said with a smile as she smiled at Kenny.
"Hello ma'am , I'm here to pick up y/n ." Kenny said , making it sound like a date. I rolled my eyes.
"Don't make it sound like a date. Mom we're going to hang out for a bit , I'll be home by 7. Cyaa!" I said to my mom as I pushed Kenny away from the door , stepping outside too.* "Alright See you honey. Have fun!" Mom said as she closed the door. When the door was closed I walked away from he door , glaring at Kenny who had that damn smirk on his face. "What's so funny?" I asked and he looked at me with a smile . "Nothing , you just look nice today." He said with a chuckle. I raised my eyebrow at him. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?!"
"You look like an homeless man!" He bursted out laughing.
