chapter 2 - rain

Another day reading books passed, then the next, and the next. Everyday was almost the same.

Tessa walked in on V and N snuggled up reading a book, trying to admire it before they noticed her.

"Tessa? What are you doing..?" N asked, weirded out by her behavior.

"Ooooooh nothing... just wanted to check in on my cute love bots!" She squealed.

N looked at V, V looked at N, dumbfounded by her ridiculous behavior.

"Well I really just came in here to say that we're gonna be gone this evening and no humans will be here. I've left J in charge and I trust you two to say out of trouble," Tessa informed them.

V and N looked at each other once more smiling then back at Tessa.

"Ok!" N responded.

"Have fun!" V spoke joyfully.

Tessa smiled at then before making her way out of the library door.

"I have a little idea for us," N smirked at V making her visor glow with blush, a bit flustered.

V was quite confused, though trusted N with her life. She knew he wouldn't do anything horrible to her ever, but she was still anxious.

The time finally came were the humans had left. It was raining still and dark outside. Most of the drones and powered off, including J, leaving them alone with no supervision.

N met V in the library as always.

"Nate! I'm so glad you're here! What were you going to show me again?" V asked, N walking up to her.

"You look beautiful Valarie..." N spoke looking at her small face and then at her dirty maid outfit she had worn for the past forever.

"Oh! uh... th-thank you..." V stuttered, playing with her hair as she blushed, a bit embarressed.

"Here, take my hand, I have something special planned for the two of us," N stated, offering his hand to her. He was a bit shy about it, but wanted V to know how much he cared about her.

V took his hand before he ran out of the library with her.

They ran through the dark halls, the light of the moon light shining on the two of them from the windows.

"WHA- NATE!?" She laughed, N laughing with her.

"Shhhh!! We need to be quite!" He laughed silently before making his was to a small glass door that led to a big garden.

He opened the door, letting V go through first. N closed the door behind them, making sure to grab a lock pick in case of emergency.

"Ok now you can talk," N smiled.

"N-NATE!?" V laughed, "Its raining!!"

"So? We're water proof!" N responded, taking her hands into his.

He got closer to V, cupping her hands and soon intertwining them.

V laughed, the rain making her hair all wet and making her visor look glossy and new. N would attempt to tuck her hair in her hat slightly so he could see her face better, though it wouldn't work

"N- Nate..." She tried to catch her breath from laughing.

"What? What are you laughing about anyway?!" N said joyfully, smiling along with her.

"I don't know!" She wheezed, wiping a tear from her eye.

"Oh my robo-god! Now I'm crying!" She finished. The two were able to calm down, giggling here and there.

N admired V and she looked around at the rain, uncontrollably smiling at her presence.

He cupped her face, bringing it back over to his gaze after a while, making V blush.

"Valarie..?" N called.

"Nate?" V spoke, flustered.

N looked down at V, chuckling, before look back up at her and bringing his hand to her waist, sending butterflies down Vs stomach.

He brought her closer, still cupping her face and looking into her eyes.

Their mouths were close, they're eyes tense. They breathed, their eyes unable to catch the rhythm of their breath.

They're lips soon met, sending electrical waved around their visors.

N swung his lips as V did as well, keeping up with the slowness of the kiss.

V let out slight small noises as the kiss prolonged, as did N. V soon put her arms on N's shoulders, pulling them deeper into the gentle kiss.

As they ran out of breath quickly, they swung each other back and forth on the gravel as the rain spun around them.

As soon as they were ready again, V put her hands around N's neck, pulling him into a deep kiss. N gestured for tongue, which was gladly received from V. The kiss got more intense the more it proceeded. Their breathing becoming uneven and scarce. N lifted V off the ground at some point to get to her height easier.

V giggled, their lips unattaching for a little as N spun her around as she was off her feet.

"AH! N-NATE!? PUT ME DOWN!!" She laughed, playfully hitting his head.

"Hahah!! Never!!!!" He spoke playfully.

"AHH!!" V screamed as N dipped her down, holding her waist and back of her head.

N laughed out loud, Vs legs tightening around his waist. He brought V out slightly took look at her face. They laughed and smiled, bringing their foreheads together and soon fading into small kisses.

N soon brought her down, looking at her before pulling her hair back to give her a kiss, it still being wet from the rain.

"We should probably head back inside now," V spoke, sinking herself into Ns chest, hugging him.

"Agreed, youre freezing," N replied, patting her head and looking around at the cold rainy night were so much love had been circled around.

N took Vs hand and walked her back inside, locking the door behind them.

They were silent on the way back, but also couldn't help themselves but laugh.
