The tear in the sky widened, and the energy from the Void pulsed, dark and foreboding. Florence felt the storm inside him churn, reacting violently to the chaos unfolding. The choice hung in the air, a suffocating weight pressing down on him. His mother's words echoed in his mind, but they felt distant now, overshadowed by the chilling presence of the Keeper and the Order of the Obsidian Flame.

"You must choose," the Keeper urged, her voice soft but insistent.

Florence clenched his fists, the magic inside him fighting to break free. He didn't know how to make this choice—how to tip the scales of fate. The Void was too powerful, too vast. And yet, the storm inside him was growing stronger, wild and untamed, as if it were feeding off the energy pouring from the tear in the sky.

Andre stood beside him, his sword still raised, his expression fierce but determined. "Florence, whatever happens, I'm with you."

Florence's chest tightened at Andre's words. He could feel the bond between them, a thread of hope in the midst of the storm. But was it enough?

The Shattered One growled low, its form shifting as dark tendrils of energy coiled around it. "You cannot delay the inevitable. The Void will consume all."

Suddenly, one of the cloaked figures from the Order stepped forward—a woman with bright, unnerving eyes. "Florence," she said, her voice low and deliberate. "You are more than you realize. The power you possess is not just a curse. It is the key to saving Astoria."

Florence stared at her, his mind spinning. "How? How can I save Astoria with something that could destroy it?"

The woman didn't answer right away. Instead, she raised her hand, and in the distance, Florence saw something—a shimmering light, faint but growing stronger.

"That," she said, "is the heart of Astoria. The source of all magic, the one thing that holds this world together."

Florence felt the storm inside him respond to the light, as if drawn to it. "What does that mean?"

The woman lowered her hand. "It means that the Void wants that heart, and it will stop at nothing to take it. But you... you have the power to stop it."

"How?" Florence asked again, his voice barely above a whisper.

"You must harness the storm," the woman said, her eyes gleaming with an intensity that made Florence's skin prickle. "You must become one with it, and use its power to seal the Void."

"But if I do that," Florence began, his heart pounding, "won't I lose myself to the storm?"

The woman's gaze softened, just for a moment. "That is the risk. But sometimes, Florence, the only way to save something is to sacrifice a part of yourself."
