-Start of Chapter 49-

Y/N's POV:

The dorm is thankfully quiet, everyone having left for the day except for Soobin, who's still passed out in Huening's bed. I yawn, grabbing my things for work and mindlessly opening the fridge, looking for some juice or maybe something quick to eat. The cool air hits my face, and I glance inside.

It's practically empty. I frown but close the fridge door, not giving it much thought. I'll just grab something on the way.

I finish getting ready and decide to check on Soobin before heading out.

He's been working so hard the past few days, barely getting any rest.

It's almost noon, and he's still dead asleep in Huening's room.

I tiptoe toward Huening's door, intending to check in on him before I leave. As soon as I push the door open, I can't help but chuckle. The sight is... ridiculous. Huening's bed is more stuffed animal than mattress, with plushies of all shapes and sizes taking up more space than Soobin himself.

Soobin is buried under a mountain of them, his arm draped lazily over a giant plush bunny while his face is half-hidden behind a massive shark. The soft rise and fall of his breathing is the only indication that he's in there somewhere, and I can't help but smile at the sheer absurdity of the scene.

He's curled up, his long limbs tangled in the blankets.  His face is completely peaceful, his lips slightly parted in sleep. I don't want to disturb him, knowing how exhausted he's been, but I can't resist the urge to softly pat his head, smoothing down his messy hair.

I smile, watching him for a moment. He looks so peaceful, like nothing in the world could bother him.

Before I leave, I reach down and gently push a piece of hair off his forehead. "Lazy bunny." I whisper, shaking my head.

As much as I want to stay and wake him up just to mess with him, I've got work. I walk out, the soft clink of the door closing behind me.

Soobin's POV

The sound of my phone vibrating on the nightstand drags me out of a dream. I groan, turning over and rubbing my eyes. Why am I in Huening's bed again? I blink, staring at his plushies piled up next to me. Oh right, Beomgyu got tired of me being in his room for so many days.

I sit up, stretching, and finally stumble out of bed. My stomach growls, and I head to the fridge, hoping for something to eat. When I open the door, there's not much inside, but then I notice it—a small cake, sitting on the shelf. My eyes land on a sticky note taped to the fridge door.

~~~~~
"Enjoy breakfast, sleepyhead! (๑>ᴗ<๑) ♡"
~~~~~

It's in this bubbly, cutesy handwriting, way too sugary sweet.

Y/N must've made it for me before she left. Nice of her

My stomach growls louder, and I grab the cake, grateful for some food. After devouring it, I leave the note on the counter and go about my day.
