Far to the north, the streets were empty. At least, most of them. The inhabitants of the town were too captivated by the event, looking at it from their cozy house, on a flat screen. It wasn't the best experience of all, but at least, they were safe from any kind of danger. Not that they didn't trust the presence of the Queens, but we never know what could happen when two humans are present.

On the main square, a gust of wind manifested itself. It was building in strength, more and more, and when it was too powerful to be contained in this specific area, it charged toward the south. To a very specific objective, one kilometer from there. It floated at wild speed over the wall of the city, over the field of grass, and kept getting faster, until it became a small hurricane.

Finally, it reached the stadium, where it took the spectators by surprise. Those who weren't facing it were the luckiest, to only receive minimal chilling. But for the majority of spectators, it was still a hell of a cold bite.

And the gust passed through the middle of the stadium where Gwain and Kôrdina were standing, completely ignoring them in its propulsion. They stood there, feeling the wind blow their hair in a unanimous direction. Their eyes met, and although the icy wind should have brought tears to their eyes, they felt none... Nothing but a shiver of excitement running through their bodies.

The wind continued on its way, toward the shore of the beach. Nevertheless, a small wind was still in the air, continuing to play with Kôrdina's braided hair. That situation, locking eyes with the Queen like 5 years before was... oddly nostalgic. But this time, there wasn't gonna be a time trap bullshit. She knew that, and Gwain knew that.

Kataklysm, still unable to move due to the dozen of spears directed at his throat, wanted to encourage them, to put an end to that moment that had him on edge. But the two different guards leaned over him, and the older one, in his fifties, muttered:

-Don't try anything. I'm used to dealing with people like you. If you can even call them "people"...

-What the... Who the hell are you?

-The last members of the punitive expedition against the humans, replied the other in his forties. Are you satisfied, or do you want to find out more about how we do things?

He shook his head, realizing that this wasn't just any comedian. Veterans who put an end to those in the bunker, that's why Gwain was compelled to reunite the two humans in spite of everything: they probably wanted revenge for the death of their brothers-in-arms.

He redirected his attention to Kôrdina, who had just taken a step forward. Gwain stopped to observe the situation. She had the psychological advantage, but when it came to strength... Clearly, Kôrdina didn't have the same lack of remorse for violence as her brother. The atmosphere was palpable, and everyone seemed enthralled by every move of the two opponents. But none of them said a word.

After all, what could be said ? Their only common link was Kataklysm, and they didn't have the slightest pacific conversation. Why bother now ? Her perception of reality started to lead her to an existential crisis.

She felt overwhelmed by everything ; the world, the people wanting to hurt her throughout her life, the current situation with those Teorans treating her like a menace... No point to beat around the bush, she knew her life had little meaning, and even less since she'd been teleported here... Was this the end of her journey ? 22 years, 5 of them lost in an instant, just to die facing the Queen ? Unless...
