-One Week Later-

-The American Adventure, EPCOT, Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida, United States-

The American Adventure was but one of the many attractions within the Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow......or EPCOT, for short. EPCOT itself was one of the four major parks of the Walt Disney World Resort—alongside Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Magic Kingdom, and Disney's Animal Kingdom—and above all else, the park prided itself on optimism, innovation, and the tireless task of constructing a better tomorrow for all, regardless of their background or upbringing.

Of note, the pavilion of the attraction held multiple areas of entertainment and education, from the Liberty Theater to the American Heritage Gallery. In addition, the central rotunda was practically surrounded on the outer walls by numerous paintings depicting acts of compassion and achievement, serving as long-standing inspirations for guests to eventually follow in their footsteps if they so wished.

Among all of the mingling patrons, however, two of them stood out.

The first of them was a tall and decently muscular young man with short combed-over blonde hair, light skin, and a sleek red- and silver-colored prosthetic which acted as his right arm and hand. He was currently wearing a collared, light blue-colored, short-sleeved polo shirt, denim jeans secured by a black belt with a gold buckle, and dark brown loafers on his feet.

Standing at his side was a boy of color with short black hair, rimmed eyeglasses, and a zipped-up black hoodie; he also had similar-looking denim jeans as his companion, but his shoes were instead a pair of black- and white-colored sneakers, and it wasn't known whether or not he was wearing a belt since his zipped-up black hoodie was untucked.

These two were the core Paragons James Markovsky a.k.a. Powerhouse and Herman, respectively, and they had been taken on a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort by James's mother Susan Markovsky and family friend Elise Fornwright some time after the reversal of Galaxara's Decimation, which happened thanks to the perseverance and drive of the serpentine superheroine Hailey a.k.a. The Viper. Thanks to her efforts, life on Earth—and everywhere else where Galaxara had previously invaded—had mostly returned to normal, though humanity was now regularly struggling to bounce back from the year-long time skip. However, The Viper had chosen to keep her rescue of humanity a secret since she wished to remain humble; instead, she acted as though the Decimation's reversal was some kind of divine miracle, a story which caught on remarkably fast......even faster than The Viper herself would've liked to admit.

James's mother, Susan Markovsky, was the CEO of a long-running security firm business known as Lockdown, Inc., and as such, the Markovsky family was known for raking in money by the thousands. A while after the Decimation's reversal, Susan approached her son and offered him a chance to take a much-needed break and go somewhere to take his mind off of things; they eventually agreed on going to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and the Paragon Herman also volunteered to go and keep James company even though he didn't need to. Considering that Herman was typically based in Mercury Heights, New York, it was quite an undertaking for him.....but as far as he was concerned, James was a fellow Paragon first and foremost, and he would do anything to look after him.

This was the third day of a four-day outing, and the four of them—James, Herman, Susan, and Elise—had their entire itinerary planned out. The idea was to spend one day at each of the Resort's four main parks; they had already covered both Disney's Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom, and were in the middle of covering EPCOT. The next day would be the fourth and final day, in which they would cover Disney's Animal Kingdom.....but for the time being, the duo opted to simply remain in the present and take in every exciting moment.
