We last read Chapter 6, in which James Markovsky a.k.a. Powerhouse and Isabela Acosta a.k.a. Archwave converse a little more after breakfast, where James tells Isabela a little bit more about his powers while Isabela tells James about hers, indicating that he should just assume she has unlimited arrows for the sake of simplicity and that her archery and agility are her main selling points. They also talk about their pasts for a while, with James reflecting back on his adventures and relationships with the Paragons up to this point and Isabela letting him in on portions of her past in the Dominican Republic, keeping the crucial details secret so as not to risk James abandoning him once more.
When James asks to be briefed on the "case" Isabela was referring to the previous night, Isabela initially brings up the numerous graffiti drawings that have been popping up around the city of Seattle, which James also confirms the existence of. Isabela then goes on to reveal that she captured and interrogated a graffiti artist between her departure from the Lumen Field stadium and her second meeting with James outside of the latter's house last night. She reveals that the recent graffiti hits were all likely committed by the same gang—due to the similarities in the art style—and claims that the group is going to target the Green Lake Pitch 'N Putt golf course next, likely around lunchtime.....but neither she nor James know exactly what the gang considers as "lunchtime". When James expresses his doubts, Isabela affirms that it's real due to the fear that her "victim" expressed, and says that James doesn't have to trust her on anything again if this turns out to be false. James eventually decides to investigate—with Isabela in tow—and both of them then head out to the Markovsky Residence's front driveway.
In the driveway, Powerhouse, while changing into his superhero ensemble, tells Archwave about the late Dr. Duncan Drevis—and his genetically-modified lizard sidekick The Crawler—when they're both around the former's tricked-out convertible.....though Archwave almost lets slip some crucial details about her past. As the prosthetic-armed boy finishes putting his costume on, Archwave swiftly delivers the Markovsky Residence's mail straight to their doorstep with the skillful use of one of her arrows.....enabling Susan, James's mother, to conveniently receive them the moment she steps outside rather than having to walk all the way to the mailbox. After the remarkable feat, Powerhouse stashes his normal civilian attire in the convertible's trunk and declares that they're ready to move out; the chapter then ended with him and Archwave hopping into the tricked-out convertible and heading to the Green Lake Pitch 'N Putt golf course in the hopes of intercepting the graffiti gang.
This time, Powerhouse and Archwave have a trivial run-in with a petty bully and his attempted victim, and then arrive at the Green Lake Pitch 'N Putt golf course to intercept the colorful culprits.....

-Enroute to Green Lake Pitch 'N Putt, Seattle, Washington-
James Markovsky a.k.a. Powerhouse was in the driver's seat of the tricked-out convertible as it sped out of his community and took him and his new companion, Isabela Acosta a.k.a. Archwave, to the Green Lake Pitch 'N Putt golf course to—hopefully—intercept the spray-painting vandals before they could successfully vandalize the course's check-in booth.
"You ever get to drive cars where you come from?" Powerhouse casually asked Archwave, who was in the front passenger's seat—to Powerhouse's right—while her white compound bow was secured at her feet below the dashboard. "Any of them as rocking as this?"
"No, not particularly....." Archwave responded. "We do own a lot of vehicles.....but I never got to drive any of them until recently. Very recently."
"How recently?"
"As in, 'less than a month ago' recently. In fact, if I may be honest......I've never passed Driver's Ed."
