We last read Chapter 31, in which James Markovsky a.k.a. Powerhouse breaks into the fifth rail car of the King Street Station train and tries one more time to get Special Agent Warren Schaefer to back down peacefully and release his companion Isabela Acosta a.k.a. Archwave—and the other captives on the train—peacefully, despite Schaefer having orchestrated the attack on the Lumen Stadium, the two FBI chases against Powerhouse and Archwave, and the attack on the Seattle Space Needle prior to this point. Archwave tries to notify Powerhouse that she's already learned everything about Schaefer's past—and Powerhouse tries to use that to sway Schaefer's stance.....but nonetheless, Schaefer still ends up clinging tightly to his bile, hatred, and xenophobia, refusing to accept non-Americans and even blaming Powerhouse for supposedly getting "brainwashed" and "conditioned" into allowing aliens like Archwave to "taint" and "contaminate" America's soil.

He even goes as far as to try and tempt Powerhouse to join his side instead, stating that they're both Americans and that they shouldn't need to "share" America with anyone not from it.....but Powerhouse turns down his ravings and instead counters—rightfully—that America is meant to be a "city on a hill" composed of everyone from all cultures and walks of life, and that people who come often come to find success and a new home.....not to sow discord, distrust, or violence. During this, Archwave again attempts to move, but Schaefer whips his head back to look at her and yells at her to sit back down.

Despite all of this, Schaefer still refuses to change and seeks to "punish" Powerhouse by killing Archwave right in front of him, so that Powerhouse will be hurt as much as Schaefer allegedly was by Powerhouse's "betrayal". However, before he can pull the trigger, the Spraywatch vandal Valentina Valdez fires a red paintball directly at his forehead, knocking him on his back and incapacitating him momentarily, freeing Archwave and allowing her to reclaim her gear in the process with the rest of the newly arrived Spraywatch gang.....with Valentina's best friend Tyrone Hoover and the gang's leader Monarch McIntosh also among them. Valentina—after commenting that she and the gang arrived just in the nick of time—lets Powerhouse know that the group has already cleared out the four previous rail cars and the caboose, leaving behind nothing but unconscious Schaefer loyalists and rescued civilians in their wake.

After Schaefer recovers, he yells that the invading Spraywatch gang are going to pay for their intrusion before ordering all of his loyalists to open fire despite there still being numerous hostages nearby; the chapter ended with a full-fledged scuffle breaking out between Powerhouse and Schaefer's respective forces, with all of the train's hostages being caught in the crossfire.

This time, the true final battle begins, and the Spraywatch gang focuses on getting the civilians in the fifth rail car to safety.....

The Spraywatch gang leader Monarch McIntosh twirled his cane-and-sniper rifle-hybrid weapon a couple of times in his right hand before pointing its lower half straight at the first of many Schaefer loyalists in the fifth rail car.

"Go!" he ordered to the rest of the gang. "Save those people! We'll provide cover fire!"

Both Valentina Valdez and her best friend Tyrone Hoover nodded in acknowledgement to him before rushing forward with about half of the recruited Spraywatch unit, with the other half remaining near McIntosh to aid him in taking down Schaefer's goons.

Valentina rushed off to a spot near the left side of the rail car, towards a mother and her child who were currently being shielded by a third man, who was undoubtedly the mother's husband and the child's father. The Schaefer loyalist holding the trio at the barrel of his MP5 noticed Valentina approaching, and redirected his firearm towards her instead, firing off a stream of bullets.....but Valentina quickly transitioned into a low slide to evade them, with the other Spraywatch vandals—and Monarch McIntosh—also swiftly dodging them as a result, causing them to harmlessly hit the back wall of the fifth rail car.
