Dun Medical College:

As I stood in front of the grand entrance of Dun Medical College, a rush of emotions flooded over me. The majestic building loomed before me, its walls crafted from local stone, giving it a timeless quality.

Tall windows sparkled in the morning sunlight, and the college emblem—a stethoscope entwined with a serpent—stood proudly above the door. I took a deep breath, attempting to quell the butterflies in my stomach.

“Are you ready?” Vyom asked, breaking me from my thoughts. He walked beside me, his presence both comforting and familiar. We had always been friends, but today felt different—like we were stepping into a new chapter of our lives.

Vyom chuckled, his carefree attitude shining through. “You will, Priyal. Besides, you have me. We’ll stick together.”
As we entered the building, I marveled at the spacious lobby filled with students bustling about, their voices a blend of excitement and nervousness. The hallways were adorned with colorful posters promoting health awareness and upcoming seminars. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, igniting a spark of enthusiasm within me.

We headed to our first class—anatomy—held in a spacious classroom with high ceilings and large windows that let in natural light. The room was filled with rows of wooden desks, and at the front stood a massive whiteboard, ready for the day’s lessons. I spotted a few of my classmates already seated, some flipping through thick textbooks while others chatted nervously.
As I took my seat next to Vyom, I couldn’t help but overhear snippets of conversation. Some girls were discussing their favorite medical dramas, while a group of boys argued over which medical device was the most crucial in emergencies. Many other students were asking each other their NEET ranks and no of attempts. Overall the class was a mixture of students from varying backgrounds and ages. Depending on no of attempts they took in clearing the exam.

I noticed a tall girl with curly hairs, she approached me with friendly smile, "Hi, I am Anika, you from here? No I replied back "I am from Ladakh. I am Priyal".
"And he is my little brother Vyom", I said pointing towards him.
"Wow! Siblings together in MBBS", she sounded surprised and astonished.
" So you would living in college hostal then? Which room no.? "She asked.
I saw few other girls also joining this conversation.
"Yeah which one?" Another girl with straight hairs and cute smile asked me.
"Uh, I live with my married sister. Who is senior here. We are not living in hostal." I replied.
They look disappointed. I never knew being a Day Scholar could be such a bad thing!
"You'll miss out on hostal life. I bet you love living with your sister but hostal life is really different." Anika replied.
"But hey! You can always come stay with us overnight."
I saw the other girls nodding in unison.
"But your brother won't be allowed." They laughed.
"Oh, that's makes me so mad and upset", Vyom replied jokingly.
One of the girls was visibly interested in him. I could see her looking at him curiously.
Werewolves do attract human. Vyom was my beta. He indeed was a handsome guy. Before I could say something else, The professor entered, commanding attention with a strong presence.
“Settle down everyone. Welcome to Anatomy 101! This year, we will explore the human body in detail, including its systems and structures.”
All of us settled on our seats and professor started giving his lectures.

After two more classes, we gathered outside to discuss our schedules and Anika added us to our class whatsapp and Telegram group.
I saw the other girl Riya saving Vyom's  phone number particularly.

We went to the admin department were we provided with identity cards. The hostellers collected it yesterday only. I could see oy few Day Scholars with us.

As we walked, I chatted with Vyom and Maya about our classes, Our laughter echoed through the corridors, and for a moment, everything felt perfect.

As the days rolled into a week, our routine settled into place. We attended lectures on biochemistry, learned about the intricacies of the human anatomy, and spent hours in the library, poring over textbooks. Vyom even joined some Editorial board of college students.

We had to participate in extra curricular activities also, like normal students. But we could not play sports. We are not normal.
At college things were going good, since Vyom is my brother is the story which I gave, few boys from my classroom approached me romantically.
But now there are murmurs that Daksh could be my Boyfriend.
Daksh drops the three of us to college before dropping Ranveer in Dun Arts. He himself is in Dun Engineering college.
All the three campuses are really close to each other.

Our Villa:

A week later:At our dining table

“Maya, you look different,” I commented, a hint of concern creeping in. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fantastic!” she beamed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “I have some news!”
The table fell silent, and everyone leaned in closer, eager to hear what she had to say.

“I’m pregnant!” she exclaimed, her voice filled with joy.
The room erupted in cheers and congratulations, and I felt a surge of happiness for my friend. “That’s incredible, Maya!” I said, enveloping her in a tight hug. “I can’t believe it! You’re going to be a mom!”

This was a moment of joy amidst our busy lives, and I cherished it deeply.

Later that night, as I prepared for bed, my phone buzzed. It was a call from Aunt Tara, her voice warm and comforting. “Priyal, I want you to perform a ritual for the goodwill of the unborn child,” she said.
“Of course, Aunt Tara,” I replied, feeling a swell of excitement. “I can’t wait to make her day special".

“Wonderful! I’ll send the list of materials required to Daksh in the morning,” she added. “We’ll make it special.”
As I settled into bed, I reflected on the day’s events. It was a new beginning, not just for me but for Maya and Arihant as well.
And as I closed my eyes,  Daksh mindlinked me from his room below.

"No signs from, any werewolves yet, Vyom says that's a good news."
"Good news it is yet" I replied.
"You should sleep Priyal"Daksh said.
"Yup goodnight to you too" I said.
