Dun Pack House: Next day in Afternoon.
Tanishq's POV:The morning light filtered through the large windows of my office, illuminating the space adorned with dark wood and the rich scent of leather. The well-built office in our pack house was designed to reflect authority and tradition, with trophies and plaques lining the shelves, a testament to the strength and achievements of the Dun pack.
I leaned back in my chair, trying to process the information my betas had just shared. Arav, my patient and ever-observant beta, was the first to speak. “Tanishq, we need to discuss those two female werewolves. They were not alone; they were accompanied by four other men.”
“What do you mean ‘not alone’?” I demanded, my voice rising. “What does that even mean?”“They booked a single large room at the resort. Something about that feels off, Tanishq. We can’t ignore it.”Arav replied calmly.
Advik my gamma continued, “The booking was made by a man named Arihant. The drivers we provided were humans, but the owner of the shop from where they purchased water bottles, was a werewolf. He didn’t sense any wolf scent from their group, though.”
I shouted with frustration,“So you’re telling me you think they’re all human? After the chaos we've been through?”.
“That is what my employees at the agency and Shopkeeper believe” he replied, looking conflicted. “But I am sure I sensed them as werewolves in the corridor, they had the scent, One of the females… she had an aura about her.She felt powerful to me".
“Are you sure about this?” I shot back, my tone sharper than intended. “How could six rogues stay in a resort that belongs to an alpha and a beta is the resort manager? It's almost a joke at this point.”
Samar, ever the skeptic, crossed his arms. “What if Advik is wrong? If no one else sensed them as werewolves, then maybe he’s seeing things that aren’t there."
My hands clenched into fists “Listen to me, all of you! I want every bit of information we can gather on these people. What if they are here to check out the area for planning an attack?”.
Samar wasn't even serious, "It is absurd that only Advik felt there scents and no one else did. I still think they are just group of normal humans on Safari."
Advik glared at him, his expression serious. “ I know what I sensed. That female felt powerful.”
"What information do we have on them?" I demanded.
“They used my agency to book two vehicles for the national park safari.”Advik replied.
I straightened,“What else?”
Advik continued, “The jeeps were booked on a Arihant's ID which revealed that he is a student of Dun Medical college. "
Arav spoke softly, "That's the same ID used for booking the resort".
I was surprised. Werewolves as students in Dun Medical college. It was reputed government aided college that had students from all over the country. Sure we had few of our werewolves as students there in past but at present only our gamma Rudra was there.
"Ask Rudra to find out more about this group" I ordered Arav. I knew Samar didn't even considered them as werewolves. And it was stupid to give him a work in which he didn't believe fully.
"Now leave all of you!" I demanded.
