Villa at Naini:Today they will tour Jim Corbett in Ramnagar.
Priyal POV:I woke up early at 5 am. Daksh already pulled in the curtains and left. He cares for me more like a elder brother. I still don't get why elders chose me as the Alpha. There would be some reason.
Well today was our day to go out for fun vacation at national park! Tigers! I never actually saw one. Where I lived there were only snow leopards. Here I have heard we have leopards also, and Ranveer even saw one in the forest at the back of our villa. Let's see what we get today!
I got ready by 5 : 30 am and wore my black crop top. I also took a blue denim jacket just I case. I loved my look!Downstairs Vyom told me our car was here. I was really excited. I went out and saw two new cars. One was black Mahindra XUV 800 and other was my favourite Honda city for my personal use. Uncle used their bank balance to purchase buy us cars. We can't drive these back at out place. Else eyebrows would be raised. We used our old money here. I loved it.
It was settled that we would take the first one to reach Ramnagar and in the national park Arihant had booked us two jeeps and a guide. Private vehicle was not allowed inside the park!
I sat on the front. And Vyom was really eager to drive. I let my Beta enjoy the steering today.
We ride was joyous. We saw the the beautiful mountains, the roads seemed as if they were relatively new in construction.
I saw in middle mirror my cute omega couple embracing each other. I watched Arihant pressing a soft kiss on Maya's temple. I tore away my eyes from the mirror, It was a reminder that love matters the most in the world.Daksh and Ranveer giggled seeing them and I wondered how much stupid these boys can really be. I looked back and gave them my alpha stare. Both went quiet and I asked them to pass me my packet of Green Lays.
I munched my favorite snack and enjoyed the ride it was 9 when we reached Rampur. We reached the parking area Arihant gave a call to our guide reminding him that we have reached.
We decided to have some breakfast. And had Tea and some Bread Pakoras at a nearby small shop.
The guides arrived with their vehicle. It was an open Jeep . Enough space for each of us. Passes were already arranged for us. I sat at the back with Maya and Arihant, Daksh sat on front seat.
Vyom and Ranveer were on the other Jeep they introduced themselves as Sahil and Shabeer.Arihant booked them via an agency. They took us to the main gate. There we saw the forest guards they checked vehicle passes.
I saw Daksh buy some water bottles for all us from the shop just before the entry gate.
"Please dont throw them in the Park, it would invite fine " said Sahil.
"We don't intend to, fine or no fine ", Daksh yelled. I gave him a look. The driver gave an expression like he couldn't care much and it was daily occurence of tourists yelling at him.
The guards asked the vehicles to let us in.
I saw that they allow vehicles in batches of five, or six. Ranveer Jeep was right behind us. The starting point of park seemed no different then what was already outside the boundaries. And then started the forests. And mind you, I just loved them! The first wildlife we got a glimpse of were peacock. Not quite a speciality but we loved watching her.
We laughed and I clicked few pictures of the same. I saw some other rare birds most of which were very distant from us but nevertheless we watched them from distance.
Arihant asked us to be quiet and Sahil pointed to us the elephants.
The elephants were at distance but we could sense that sensed us. Most wildlife actually does. But we are humans here right now. I loved the view.
Sahil waited for us to click some pictures. And I could see other tourists doing the same.
Maya and Arihant asked me to click a photo of them. The two looked cute. They had twinning in their outfits also. They women matching shirts, as to proudly declare to the world that they are together.
We the continued and saw the beautiful streams in the park. We crossed river by an overbridge which read 'Built by Indian army'.
The car slowed to a halt in front of a small temple. "This is Sita temple, you can visit if you wish too".We looked at each other and nodded in agreement.
The temple was simple yet beautiful. There was a small pond. The priest told us this was the place where Godess Sita brought up her twins Luv and Kush.
" Weren't they born in Valmiki ashram? " Vyom asked him. "So what, they still can come here after birth" Daksh replied.
"Oh!" Vyom replied.
We roamed around for some time before settling into the car and resuming our safari. We chatted and saw the scenic view but after some point the entire forest looks the same honestly. The guide slammed the brakes and the car jerked to a sudden stop.
As the dust settled, our eyes widened—there, just ahead, a tiger emerged from the bush, its golden eyes locking onto us. He came closer to the road, unwavered by human presence.
The showstopper was here. Now we could just say that this safari was sucessful.
Something about this animal truly justifies its name. It is indeed Royal.Sahil asked us to be quiet. Daksh captured the tiger's majestic form with a series of rapid clicks as it moved across the road with his DSLR. Some connection of engineers and photography!
