Chromatober Day 7 - Creativity

[This makes use of my RQ Lab AU once again!! This takes place very soon after Orange was created and Sabre is basically observing the steve's behavior early on in its development.]

[Sabre's POV]

Okay...

I clicked the on button for a recording device I had and it went.

"Subject 003; log 001. For this experiment I combined my DNA with that of another animal, a cat to be specific. It was much less of my DNA than was used in 001, but 003 still looks similar to me as expected." I leaned further against the table I was sitting at, watching 003's behavior.

"A common theme between my experiments seems to be color coding, no specific order seems to be in okay here. As 001 was blue, 002 was....." I paused, biting my lip as my eyes lost focus for a moment.

I quickly brought myself back to reality, continuing the log. "And 003 is orange. Though 001 was a lighter hue of the color blue and 003 seems to be extremely bright, something I'll need to look into later." I jotted a few notes down onto my clipboard.

"Subject 003 surprisingly a few minutes before I began this log had summoned some crayons and papers from another room, using them to draw whatever it had seen in the room; this had prompted me to begin this recording now. But it is especially baffling that 003 even knows how to work art materials, as it hasn't even learned basic communication yet."

I noted how 003 was just doodling peacefully, not a care in the world. It was adorable..

No, you need to stop getting so attached to these creations.. Bad things just keep happening to them!

I sighed, tapping my foot up and down. "003 seems to be more energertic then 001 was, which is saying something for sure.." I chuckled.

I jotted down a note for a test reminder, one about checking this one's energy capacity; or at last as far as it thought it could go before it believed it was tired. I may be doing all this, but I wouldn't want to harm any of my experiments. They're my creations..

"Something of note with the cat DNA, subject 003 seems to have the ears, tail, and fur of a cat as well as many other little things. From what I saw when closer it has the same eyes of a cat, most likely being able to see in the dark. There isn't fur everywhere, only on the cheeks, shoulders, spin, wrists, and ankles. 003 also has more paw-like hands and paws as feet." I continued with.

"That will be it for today, end log." I stopped talking, setting down my device and taking a few more notes on paper.

I began mumbling to myself. "You're a creative little one, aren't you..?" I said softly, knowing he couldn't hear me.

"You're a cool little guy.."

Aaaaaa I was gonna do creature with the Flesheater AU but i couldn't think of a scene to write and plus thisss is cuter!! ^^ Also yeah this was gonna be more focused on creativity butttt I kinda steered off path- Sorry that this is so shortttttttt aaa
