The celestial beings, like her father, sought to impose order, stability, and harmony across the universe, while the elemental spirits, led by her mother, reveled in the chaotic beauty of nature's raw power. As a child, she played under shifting skies, where winds would carry her laughter and streams of molten fire reflected in her glowing eyes—one gold, one violet.
But even as she played, she could feel the tension in the air. Her parents were leaders in their respective factions, and though they loved each other, they couldn't ignore their responsibilities. "Kaelyth," Eryndor said, his voice filled with the heavy tone of a warrior preparing for battle. "It is time to choose your path."

"You cannot be both," her father continued. "The balance between light and chaos must be maintained. You must choose to serve the light and bring order to the universe, or embrace the elemental power within you."
Her mother, Nyrra, stood behind her, silent yet watchful. Her eyes sparkled with the knowledge that Kaelyth's choice could change the fate of the entire realm.
"I don't want to choose," Kaelyth whispered, her voice trembling.
Eryndor's expression softened, but he shook his head. "That is not an option."
