"ugh i'm dead" nicole groaned, falling down on the couch next to my bed
"same, i didn't remember how intense a class with matt can be" i said, walking out my balcony to catch some fresh air.
colie and i just finished our last rehearsal with matt for our master class at world of dance, and let me tell you, it was exhausted
"ok so... spill!" she exclaimed, standing up to go and sit cross legged on the mini couch on my balcony
"spill what?" i asked confused
"what's going on with that austin guy?" she asked excited
"oh my god, not you too"
"yes, me too! cam, tell me, we always tell each other everything"
"i know, but there's nothing to tell. he's just a friend... a really cute one who lives across the fucking world" i groaned, sitting on my egg chair
"awe, cj you like him!"
"yeah... i guess. i don't know. it just feels different"
"a good difference?"
"a re ally good difference"
"but are you comparing it to?"
"past relationships, i think..."
"camille!"
"i'm sorry! but i can't help it. it just reminds me a lot of what I had with noah. me living here and him living miles away, is basically the same, and it didn't worked out" i explained
noah jupe, my ex boyfriend of a little bit over two years, we started dating in early 2019, then our relationship was based on facetime and texts due to quarantine, and then when we finally saw each other in late 2021 it was to break up.
"cam, you can't compare them. one, because there different people; two, you and noah dated during a world pandemic; three, there's definitely more chemistry between you and austin than there ever was with noah. there, i said it" she raised her hands in surrender
"you haven't even met austin" i laughed
"yeah, i know. but i've seen your pictures together and mackenna already filled me in with all the arizona details" she happily said, hugging a pillow.
"i'm gonna kill her. she probably exaggerated everything"
"if it makes you feel better, she just told me the bare minimum. said you should tell me more"
