"Arjun," her voice stops me in my tracks, a gentle but firm reminder. "I've never asked you about your dreams or anything from your past. You know that. I was glad that after coming to India, everything seemed to get right. You felt good. But now, it's been five days, and I can't help but think it was not India—it was Aisha keeping you sane. You need to tell me. You can't keep hurting like this."
I snap, my tone icy. "I've been like this my whole life. I don't mind."
"But I do!" she insists, her eyes searching mine. "Tell me who Shya is. Who is this girl I don't know about? If you don't tell me, I'll ask the twins or Divyansh."
My heart races with fear. "NO, Kavya, please! I beg you—never say that name in front of them. I can't explain it to them. I can't answer their questions."
Tears start to blur my vision, the weight of the past pressing down on me.
Kavya immediately cups my face, her touch grounding me. "Please, tell me. At least share with me. I promise I won't say anything."
"Ask me," I manage to choke out.
She takes a deep breath, steeling herself. "Who is Shya? Who is this girl who's the only reason you smile genuinely, even if only in dreams?"
A smile tugs at the corners of my lips, the mere thought of her bringing light into this darkness. "My Shya, My Baby sister," I whisper, the words heavy with emotion.
