After Vikram uncovered the truth—that Aisha was his sister—he wasted no time sharing it with Saad and Rivaan. The revelation hit like a storm, leaving both men rooted in shock.
Saad, who had always noticed similarities between Aisha and the Oberois, now had his suspicions confirmed. He was genuinely happy that Aisha had finally found the family and the love she deserved. Yet, beneath that joy, an insidious insecurity began to claw at him. What if this bond eclipsed what they had? What if, in finding her brothers, she left him behind?
Rivaan, on the other hand, was equally stunned but shared in the happiness for both the Oberois and Aisha. Yet, the current situation was testing his patience.
Vikram had transformed into a guard dog overnight. Claiming his newfound rights as her brother made it his mission to keep Rivaan at arm's length from Aisha—sometimes literally. Every attempt Rivaan made to talk to her was met with an icy wall of overprotectiveness that pushed his patience to its limit.
Even Aisha, found his behavior confusing and frustrating. Still, she chose to let it slide, finding amusement in the unexpected drama he brought into her life.
Currently, Aisha had been discharged from the hospital and was now staying at Saad's mansion, as per her own wish.
She was peacefully napping upstairs after Kavya had given her the prescribed medicines. Her friends, reassured by her comfort and safety, had returned to their respective work.
Meanwhile, the Oberois, along with Neha, Kavya, Rivaan, and Saad, had gathered in Saad's study at Vikram's request.
In the days since the revelation, Divyansh had remained silent, avoiding his father and brothers. He knew harboring anger was futile; they had only wanted to protect him from the darkness that had haunted their family. Yet, he couldn't shake the sting of betrayal.
For years, he had watched his family attempt to portray happiness, only to fall short every time. The heaviness, the gloom that seemed to linger in every corner of their lives, had been suffocating.
It was that very gloom that had driven him to leave New York, to escape the shadows that clung to their home.
Even though he had always felt loved and protected, it hadn't been enough. He had longed for a family that was not just together but truly happy. Was it selfish to desire that? Perhaps. But now he understood why his family had been fractured for so long.
Arjun broke the silence in the study, his voice calm but laced with curiosity. "Vikram, what is it you wanted to discuss?"
Vikram took a deep breath, his hesitation evident. "I think I know..." he began, but before he could continue, Veer interrupted, his gaze fixed on their father. "Dad, can I ask you something?"
Vikram shot Veer a sharp look, but Veer didn't notice. Rajendra sighed, nodding for his son to proceed.
"What did you name her—our sister?" Veer asked softly, his tone carrying a mixture of curiosity and pain.
