NOT PROOFREAD!!!!

FRIDAY MARCH 29

ANAYA'S P.O.V.

My blood pressure is currently back to normal, and I'm finally leaving the hospital today after spending a few days here. And that was because I had Shane with me. Shane was adamant that all had to be well before I could leave. Not gonna lie. I was a bit turned on with how much he was showing concern and taking care of us. He would often leave us in the day to go to work so that my daughter and I could bond, and then he and his mother would come to spend time with us in the evenings to keep our company. Let's not forget he also sends food and gifts during the day. I couldn't stop smiling. I thanked God every day that he's always sending the right people in my corner. I was so worried about everything that was going wrong that I didn't see that there were people who had genuine love and care for me. I had also gotten close with his mother, and she has been of great help. She promises that she will be there to help with the baby until I'm back on my feet.

I was packed and ready to go, still awaiting Shane as he spoke to the doctor to double ensure that I was okay to leave.

This man nuh easy enuh lol.

Finally convinced, he picked up the bags and went ahead of us as we left the hospital. He had gotten a porter to carry me outside in a wheelchair so I wouldn't do too much walking.

Mi seh ppl mi jaw corna dem a hot mi!! Mi tiad fi smile dwl.

"We a walk a the back mi general," Shane says to the porter.

"Why?" The porter asked, confused.

Dat mi waa know too....

"Because a round deh so mi park," Shane answers dismissively.

It took a while for us to arrive at the back of the hospital. Entering the cold air outside, I pulled the baby closer to me, ensuring that she was wrapped up properly. Shane directed the porter to the car and placed the bags into the car before helping me into the back of the car. He helped me place Ryanna into the carseat, smiling down at her. After we settled into the car, he went to the driver's side and started the car, driving out of the hospital. It was then while I was looking out side I saw two cars trailing behind us.

"Anaya, can you do something for me?" Shane asked, keeping his attention on the road.

I was getting a bit uneasy being that two cars were trailing behind us following every turn we took, and the baby was here in the car with us.

"What's that?" I asked.

"I need you to turn off your phone right now," He answered.

What????

SHANE'S P.O.V.

"I need you to turn off your phone right now," I answered her.

"Why??? Shane, what is going on?" She asked, confused.

"Just turn off the phone, and I'll explain everything to you," I answered.

Seeing that she was about to be stubborn about it, I looked around for somewhere safe to park before talking to her. Looking into the rear view mirror, I look to see the other two cars following.

I was not sure about what was happening, so I had security just in case.

"Shane?" Anaya called out to me, seemingly realizing the cars.

"Anaya, relax," I answered, parking the car.

Turning towards her in the backseat, I could tell she was tensed. Her left hand was resting protectively on the car seat, her eyes roaming our surroundings.
